Essay
Yikes! ...a quick [image] search of "newman-projection" reveals images such as: and https://www2.chemistry.msu.edu/faculty/reusch/virttxtjml/sterisom.htm ...cyclohexane: ...from many ".edu" websites. ...so it seems there is a lot to learn.... ~ Edited July 3, 2014 by Essay

Essay
Sorry, but I see a big difference between, "I have no idea" and "I've already learned it," so I didn't think to ask if you already have attempted a solution. If you have some 'best guesses' that you could post, I'd like to see if I can tell what is correct or confusing. ~
hypervalent_iodine
As a hint, the arrow in the question is telling you which bond to look down to draw your projection.
For Prose
Another hint; on some of the more difficult Newman projections, I work from the atom before to see if I can make any discoveries that would help me further down the molecule. In this case, you would try looking at the carbon that has the substituent off benzene. Also, you could try looking down the Nitrogen and see if that would help.
