  1. If you apply the Klein Gordon equation you will be Lorentz invariant regardless of geometry changes of spacetime. That is the primary reason why the Klein Gordon equation was developed. The equation directly applies the 4 momentum and four velocity.

  3. Because he's posting as a moderator, not a member. His first point was that you used Argument from Incredulity, which is a logical fallacy, and against the rules for discussion here. His second point was that you're using a Strawman argument in your description, another logical fallacy, also against the rules. And third, he's reminding you that bringing up something supernatural in a mainstream section is against the rules. You can believe what you want. Some folks here prefer knowledge they can trust rather than wishful thinking or believing based on faith.

  5. I've noticed that the expressions for single Dirac field, chiral projection operators, and single complex scalar field have typos.

  6. Yes I was wondering about that, but decided it would be better not to lead the witness. šŸ˜‰

  8. What is a "progress metal"? Perhaps you are using a translator and it has not chosen a good term.

  9. Still around... 79 in July but still doing OK...love a VB or two or three... Yes, I was pretty convinced that there was one or two making a mockery of it, considering I was continually supporting the scientific view and research and obviously the lack of evidence at this time. That view is still supported and actually re-enforced...but only a small reason for my absence, as I have been in Fiji also for extended stays.

  10. No, but you might be able to able find something on obesity-related illness: heart disease, hypertension, diabetes. I doubt you could get a direct correlation; more likely statistics suggestive of a relationship.

  11. Officer-related shootings, and resulting mortality, is tracked by the FBI's National Use-of-Force Data Collection but that is too recently started to be much use. (2015) The Law Enforcement Epidemiology Project has a little over two decades of data. https://policeepi.uic.edu/data-civilian-injuries-law-enforcement/facts-figures-injuries-caused-law-enforcement/ This group, run from the CDC, has been tracking violent deaths for a couple decades. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Violent_Death_Reporting_System As for finding data on fat cops, good luck! Maybe some industry clearinghouse tracks doughnut consumption in specific areas? šŸ˜

  12. Iā€™m the US, a persons body weight is likely treated as PII and personal / confidentialā€¦ and we barely keep records on police induced deathsā€¦ on purpose / by law. A better question might be ā€œwhere can I find the most reliable data on these topicsā€ before asking how best to query it.

  13. I don't see how it is some kind of scare tactic but ok I guess. If we had to cite everything that everyone ever said in this thread or in life then we wouldn't go anywhere. Some stuff you just have an opinion about, like generalizations of the world and people in it. You can call your opinion more educated than mine but there is flaws in it somewhere and at the end of the day it's basically just an opinion. But maybe I am full of shit, it's my opinion though.

  14. How the heck you see that in @Curious layman's posts is beyond me. He has simply voiced the opinion that, with the ongoing changes in society regarding our view of gender, sport will be impacted. He is interested in what these impacts might be and how we might most effectively handle them. If you don't want to be viewed as a politically correct evangelist then stop saying things that sound like you won't tolerate honest questions.
