  3. As someone familiar with farming methods I would note that some current trends like no-till, controlled burns, "green manure," regionally-adapted strains, heritage varieties, drip irrigation, etc, all hearken back to ancient indigenous peoples and their cropping methods. European style farming has often been a disaster in drier regions (I have a parent who lived much of childhood through such a disaster), and will not sustain those 8-plus billion without incorporating some "primitive" indigenous methods.

  4. There is a round table and an unlimited supply of round tokens. Two players place in turn one token at a time anywhere on the table without overlapping other tokens. The last player to place a token, wins. What is a winning strategy?

  5. GR is invariant under re-scalings of time in particular. So a simple re-scaling of time would give you your desired metric. There is no physical information in this distinction. A universe for which the time re-scales as it passes is totally physically equivalent to one in which it's space that expands by means of a time-dependent expansion factor.

  6. One can understand without math various observational consequences of GR. One cannot understand without math the principles, reasons, and derivations of these consequences.

  7. Greetings! I have a few questions toward my better understanding of one molecule of H2O (water) as follows: What is the quantitative measurement of one (H2O) molecule of water? ......... Is one molecule of water visible to the naked eye? ......... Anticipating that the measurement of one molecule of water will be smaller than my everyday use of measurements - where does that measurement compare to one eighth of a teaspoon? ......... Do examples of one molecule of water exist in nature or does the smallest natural evidence of water in nature consist of multi-molecules of water? ......... Thank you!

  8. I think that disqualifies you from calling yourself an Italian. BTW, I do think that the protection has the benefit from preserving the old process over industrialized shortcuts that tend be more easy to find. In Europe, much of the protected stuff is actually reasonably cheap, too.

  10. Can you give me some examples of "the 'extreme' side of woke" that aren't overreactions or misinterpretations or pure whataboutism? Because this is a pretty straightforward fascist tactic, trying to argue obliquely that examples of extremism invalidate any attempts to solve problems like this reasonably. And "creating more problems than it solves" also needs to be supported and clarified. Who is it creating more problems for? Whose problems are being solved at a lesser rate because there are extreme ends to the spectrum of solutions to discriminatory behavior? Lately I'm struck by the pervasiveness of the white European perspective in the US, and how much I've ignored it most of my life. I've been learning about Native American culture in general and in my area, and I'm astonished by the inaccuracies in what I was taught. I was told they were primitives who followed the buffalo, but the truth is they nurtured the land and created abundance without plows and European methods. The buffalo followed the natives, because the natives created seas of grasses for them to crop. They were far from primitive. Australia's natives did the same thing, and after almost ruining parts of Oz with European farming methods, indigenous farming is making a comeback. I don't think I'm being extreme or over-sensitive when it comes to correcting some of the bad information I've received in my life. And thanks to those helping me work on it through discussion.

  11. Rosy retrospection - Wikipedia I'd suggest you stop reading history because you're not the type of person who's bound to repeat it and see the solutions to humanity's problems.

  12. Speaking of bull 😀 . The Protected Designation of Origin is nothing more than protectionism, similar to tariffs, to protect local industry. I've had American made Parmigiano Reggiano that was as good, if not better, than the Italian imported product. And nowhere near the price ( that is the main reason for protection; preserve the high price point ). Similarly, I've had brandy that is much better than the protected Cognac. And although I don't much care for sparkling white wine, I prefer Prosecco ( also protected ) to Champagne. But I do like Buffalo mozzarella; the fresh stuff still oozes milk when you cut into it. ( I have no idea how the buffalo learned how to make it so good )

  13. Are there mathematics in quantum mechanics,QFT or cosmology describing the blackhole singularity? The virtual particles am referring to are spacetime particles....I chose virtual because they are Soo tiny that being virtual is the correct to discribe them. The conventional virtual particles and virtual photons,I explain their source and properties according to electrodynamics as derived from this concept, which I haven't yet talked about them here. The concept of invariance of light speed is critical and standard in physics....in this concept there issues concerning that, based on the nature of spacetime particles...this may explain why alot of people have difficulties comprehending those diagrams..i.e some particles may move FTL in a manner not to violate SR and GR,synonymously to how wave function collapse happens. You haven't talked about this question.

  14. I dismiss your ideas because they are just made up statements with no evidence. You introduce things like 'spacetime particles' without a shred of evidence to back it up. You go on to say that these made up 'space time particles' are virtual particles because they are really small, which is nonsensical. In short I dismiss your ideas, not because they challenge the status quo, but because you have absolutely nothing to back up your ideas other than hand waving mumbo jumbo.

  15. ....mumbo jumbo...you came late in the thread i wonder if you have gone through the discussions...I wonder if you have read the links that i have sent...what your doing is not mainstream....you look alot at the semantics rather than ideas especially when it's beyond your imagination....do you have idea what assumptions are in any case....virtual particles being too small to be subjected under principle of uncertainty.... Let's do this simple experiment to settle this....(I won't let you trash this thread)... Can you pliz make up your own statements here so that we see how they morph into those diagrams I have posted?.....or otherwise can you come up with a simple diagram to illustrate what a quark is to an uneducated layman... without plagiarising others ideas? What you are doing is defending status quo of knowledge gatekeeping. you can't see back up when already you have a notion. Anyway ✋🤗😊 am done. Clarification the above post is for...
