  1. Out of curiosity, how old were you when you “chose” your gender?

  2. I wasn't myself trying to argue against your position although I can certainly see where it looked that way. I was instead trying to understand your reasoning (or at least understand where my reasoning was wrong) which I finally do. Thanks! 😁

  3. If you posit an infinite universe it still wouldn't help unless your physical computers are themselves infinite. But if you want to imagine computers with infinite storage I'll grant you the point. But you see the leap of imagination required to even make the premise conceivable. In an observable universe known to be finite, you want an infinite universe in which we can build computers having infinite amounts of memory. At what point does this go from an exercise in rationality to pure a-scientific fantasy?

  5. Not everyone likes the same style of music. Even the same one person likes different music at different times or on different days. Some like eclectic samples and different perspectives. Discussion forums aren’t much different. Different user populations. Different topics. Different styles. It’s fun to visit farmers markets and try multiple different vendors. Going solely to the same one over and over is a recipe for boredom.

  6. I'm not a member of Twitter. Posts are open to read AFAIK in most countries. If it contains "sensitive" material, I think you can just click a permission button to choose to remove the block. It may be different in the UK, though. See my reply to John. Thank you, @Phi for All

  7. Way to miss the point. 🙄 You argue that recreation level sport is fine, and my question is, why does the word elite change the argument?

  8. Is there a version I can see without signing up for Twitter?

  9. Are you serious? Do you think that all the data in the papers I linked were gained from harmful interference? Do you think we should just assume things rather than quantify and measure actual differences?

  10. I am just going to put this here so that people understand why I don't have any basic General Knowledge of Science. I started high school the year we went into the first lockdown and science wasn't easy to complete over a google meet, I then was in and out of school due to some illnesses. Then the school year just gone(I was in Year 10) I missed lots of school (6-8 months) as I was in and out of Hospital, and Doctor Surgeries. I was not given any work to complete and am now having to use my Summer Holidays to catch up. Since I missed so much of school I don't have the knowledge of a Year 11 in science. I am hoping to help that by having some help from others on this website. I hope this clears up any issues.
