  1. Not all Jews live in Israel. Not all Jews are Zionists. Not all anti-Zionists are Anti-Semite. Scooping people all up as one group is exactly what Adolf did.

  2. The specifics of the mechanism might be missing, but it clearly states that the jets arise because the system needs to shed angular momentum. (that was an epiphany for me when I first learned it)

  3. 2.611, 3.533 and 1.0067 are no odd numbers ? Pity if instead you didn't post the speed of sound you employed and the fact that you changed my figure of 45 m/s to 50 m/s. That would have saved me looking up the speed of sound on Google and accepting the first reasonable academic answer listed. Of course resulting in pointless exchanges of posts. You still haven't shown how your claim that this method of analysis (Which is classical ) supports a Lorentz transformation into any inertial frame I choose. I choose to work in the ground frame (as you did) and tranform this into the wind frame (as Arago et al did) and I arrive at the fact that the time of transit is dependent on the wind speed, as otheres did. If you think there is a Lorenz tranformation then it should work and give these figures for the transformation to the wind frame. So what is x' = ?(x, t) t' = ?(x, t) in your system ? For interest here is Professor Beiser's alternative and simpler explanation as to why other waves are not a good analog (which was my point). The behaviour of light waves is unique.

  4. Has anyone mentioned the Ben Gurion Canal Project, that ends up just a little north of the Gaza Strip on the Med? They started about a year ago, and it will compete with the Suez Canal (which made Egypt almost US$8B last year). They'll be able to handle a LOT more ships with less waiting time, but only if they can guarantee the safety of those crossing.

  5. And that changes the point how ? Mistermack hates Israeli Jews and ALL others that support them. Reminds me of idiots who claimed the World Trade Center was brought down by the American Government and Big Business because it is extremely valuable real estate. I guess if you can't make a valid argument, you use demerit points ...

  6. Imagine you could go back in time 4.6 billion years and take a picture of our Sun just as it was being born. What would it look like? Well, you can get a clue from this glorious new image acquired by the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST). Towards the centre of this object, called HH212, is a star coming into existence that is probably no more than 50,000 years old. The scene would have looked much the same when our Sun was a similar age. You can't actually see the glow from the protostar itself because it's hidden within a dense, spinning disc of gas and dust. All you get are the pinky-red jets that it's shooting out in polar opposite directions. HH212 is sited in Orion, close to the three brilliant stars that make up the "belt" of the mythical hunter that gives the constellation its name. The distance from Earth is about 1,300 light-years. Physics suggests those dramatic outflows of gas are the means by which the nascent star regulates its birthing. "As the blobby ball of gas at the centre compacts down, it rotates. But if it rotates too fast, it will fly apart, so something has to get rid of the angular momentum," explained Prof Mark McCaughrean...... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-67243772

  7. Said another way: Simple isn’t all that’s necessary. It must also be correct and account for observations.

  8. Your explanation must include the CMBR. Once you add a shoe-horned CMBR piece into your hypothesis it becomes much more complex than the BBT.

  9. The earth is rotating. The emitter rotates with the Earth. The receiver also rotates. With a home-made apparatus, no serious experiment can be conducted. Photons emitted by the emitter, travel a curved path to reach the receiver, while the Earth rotates? The distances are too small to make measurements.. All the experiments with "speed of sound" are useless.. The field of view is only 5 km near the ground. https://www.google.com/search?q=how+many+kilometers+you+can+see+sea+horizon At the speed of light, it takes 42.5 ms for a particle to pass through the center of the Earth (12,700 km). Sound - one particle hits another particle, which hits another particle, and so on. Imagine that the Earth is rotating.. But his name was Lorentz.. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hendrik_Lorentz

  10. But what if D were ~35,000 km? You send a signal to a geostationary satellite and back to the source. The error is now almost a microsecond. When the satellite is in the opposite direction, it’s that much, but in the opposite direction. Wouldn’t we notice this happening? The source clock, good to much better than a nanosecond, being almost a microsecond off by more or less than expected?

  11. Israel kills about 9,000 civilians in order to kill a few hundred Hamas fighters. And they call it self defence. Real self defence would have involved more security around Gaza in the first place. I really do think that Israel wanted all of this. They enticed Hamas to launch an attack with lapse security, so that they would have an excuse to go into Gaza. It has a whiff of "final solution" about it. A few thousand Israeli lives lost is worth it to people like Benjamin Netanyahu, it advances the eradication of the "Palestinian Problem" and solidifies his own position. A few weeks ago, he was on a growing rack, with anti government demonstrations and reservists refusing to serve. All of that is history now. Sheer luck? I don't think so.

  13. Well I think it most certainly is . But if you think the only important species is humans, then maybe it's not. Maybe I'm odd, but I value other species, and hate to see animals like Gorillas reduced to a few thousand, while we are nearly 8 billion.

  14. Let me clarify the new synchronization procedure described in the OP and the difference from the standard procedure. In the standard procedure, the synch pulse is sent from the mid- point to the clocks at S1 and S2. The clocks, upon receiving the synch pulses, are set to t = 0 and start counting from there. Absolute motion will have no effect in this case. In the new procedure I have proposed (assuming isotropy of the speed of light), the clock at S1 is set to t = 0 and at the same time a synch pulse is sent from S1 to S2. The clock at S2, upon receiving the pulse, is set to t= 2D/c , and starts counting from there. This procedure will be affected by absolute motion and the clocks will be out of synch, which will manifest as time difference (at the detector) of 'simultaneously' emitted pulses from S1 and S2. In the case of synchronizing from the center, the effect of absolute motion will be cancelled (the so-called 'two way speed of light' )

  15. As the CMBR can have other explanations other than the BBT, why then, does my hypothesis need an ad hoc extra explanation of the CMBR? Okhams razor states that the simplest explanation is usually the best one, I’ve kept my hypothesis simple as per Okhams razor.

  17. You can like Palestinian people but hate the methods they use, just as you can like Israeli people ( some of whom are Palestinian ) but hate the methods they use. That is a perfectly acceptable discussion to have. But hating Jews and ascribing all sorts of bad intentions to them, like having 1400 of their people butchered and over 200 kidnapped, means you, and the person who up-voted your ignorant post, are anti-Semite. ( or possibly, had a great uncle named Adolf ) Is that 'asshole' enough for you ?

  18. Many parts of North countries tend to have harsh winters. In addition to that in many villages tend to have bad heating systems which would make living in this area hard for the people. You have to design an efficient heating system that will be sustainable for years and will be affordable for the people considering that electricity tend to be more expensive in this places. Efficiency- a system that would produce heat the most efficient and provide explanation/evidence Affordability- total price of the system should be low enough to be done by the government for each village or be purchased by the village instead Sustainability - explain how this design will be sustainable by explaining
