  1. Hello. I am a woman from Kyrgyzstan.I am interested in science and science fiction and i have some ideas: 1. Hyper space engine using electrons . Electrons transfer through covalent or ionic bonds , they can be the result of law of conservation of energy. Or there may be an electron field. 2. Hyper space engine through energy of ionization 3. Multiverse travel by deleting hydrogen from cosmic ship' s way 4. Artificial intelligence . Is it possible to catch signals or waves from minds of living organisms and create a machine. 5. Cosmic ship using biological characteristics of alien species like mind reading. 6.electrons transmitting energy or information from one machine to another. 7. Hyper space engine through these reactions: falling protons colliding with nucleus of nitrogen, oxygen and other nucleus kicking out neutrons and protons with emitting peony particles and other particles. Emitted nucleon particles, peony particles lead to secondary collisions. 8. Extracting energy from expansion of space 9. Extracting energy from rotation of planets , galaxies or other objects 10. Add plant or animal particles to cosmic ships and use the process of evolution to modify ships or to multiply ships through the process of cell reproduction. 11. Think about evolution of life to make human controlled insects or animals 12. Think about parcticle fields like photon field 13.. Use photons for a portable in space tv display

  3. Other countries are less enthralled and entangled with the US’s unholy conglomeration of billionaires and its embracing oligarchy and authoritarian rule, and might do something about it. (South Korea’s impeachment proceedings, for example

  4. You’d think the violation of his security clearance protocols would raise eyebrows. You have to report all contact with foreign nationals, and he neglected to do that.

  5. Among the many explanation why we have a capital-based economy which promotes an upward movement of wealth (Marx, anyone?), I also found an interesting observation regarding non-essential consumption. There was an argument that folks have more things than ever before (e.g. comparing to our parents and grand-parents) as many goods (especially electronics) are now mass consumed. To produce these goods, cost cutting and efficiency has spread through all levels of the support chain, leaving essentially labor cost as a non-reducible unit. There are therefore strong incentives to keep salaries low and companies successful in cutting costs this way are getting incentivized by shareholders as well as consumers.

  6. By the 1500s, the 'Black Death' had wiped out over 30 % of Europe's population. The very unequal feudal system of baron landowners with large numbers of serfs working the lands for barely subsistence came to an end, as the fewer remaining workers began to demand actual wages to work the land. Covid-19 had started to have the same effect as many people refused to return to minimally paying jobs after the pandemic. Quite a few restaurants and coffee shops had to close for lack of hired help, and governments are having to raise minimum wage to assist small businesses finding help. That seems to pale in comparison to a jackass like E Musk, who is currently worth approx. 440 Billion, demanding a yearly compensation of 56 Billion. He spent over 250 Million propping up D Trump's election campaign, such that he now controls the direction of the American Government ( finally lobbyists aren't the biggest problem anymore ), and yet, all the 'little' people ( non-affluent, uneducated ) voted for this Government thinking they'd get a better deal. P T Barnum underestimated the number of suckers born per minute. ( sorry, current American politics always gets me angry, so much so that I tend not to post too often as it ruins the rest of my day )

  7. (unforeseen page break - this replies @swansont post on previous page which the edit function won't let me access) There could be wall ketchup over Musk at some point, and it's enjoyable to dream of a Trump deportation dragnet which includes Musk. In the America I used to imagine I lived in, Musk's offer to rape Taylor Swift might have been sufficient to motivate Congress to look into him being an undesirable worth purging.

  8. There have been a multitude of studies on mortality vs alcohol consumption. High on the search-engine listings is Alcohol Consumption and All-Cause Mortality: A Systematic Review The balance of the evidence is perhaps surprisingly in favour of limited consumption of alcohol being a healthier choice over total abstinence. The argument isn't proven, but it suggests your fears are indeed difficult to justify.

  9. There is a bit of an understanding in how toxicity and safe limits (or no-effect concentrations) are determined (specifically this is a lack of data issue, not so much of a clear esatblished low-level toxicity profile), but I the short version is that no it does not mean that tiny amounts will lead to long-lasting effects (typically is related to cancer effects, which makes things even more problematic evidence-wise). In short, we do not have data on trace amount, and it is unlikely to do any harm over your regular diet. I will note, for example, that you likely have (very) low levels of alcohol in your gut right now. We carry a number of bacteria and yeasts in our gut that can produce some levels of ethanol as part of their regular metabolism (there is also a rare so-called auto-brewery syndrome, but that is probably not part of this discussion). But to put it really short, other factors in your diet (e.g. sugar) are likely going to have more impact on your overall cancer risk than a the residual ethanol levels you find in bread or vinegar.

  10. That's the first statement you made I agree with

  11. Every statement you have so far is 100 percent incorrect. You haven't made a single accurate statement. Your basic logic chose to ignore what it chose to ignore so is absolutely meaningless because you choose to ignore Any detail that runs counter to your way of thinking. Literally every single physicist that has ever looked at cosmology would disagree with you.
