  1. 18 year old art student here, but math and science, computers and all that jazz are my true loves don't ask why I went into art but I'm an artist at heart too
  2. the energy is not taken away, it is just stopped. The atom will throw the extra energy away we're not going to have a poll on everone's favorite state of matter too are we?
  3. anything with easily absorbed sugars and starches (as YT said) not being a dietrician myself, I would suggest spaghetti and peanut butter (just because I think it would be funny if someone actually ate that) I think the only thing that messes me up in math tests is when I try to actually show the work, I CAN'T DO IT!!! I hate when teachers write "show your work" because then I'll try, and I'll get something messed up:-p however, rarely do I ever eat breakfast, and I was one of the smarter people (maybe) in my high school, so it doesn't really bother me....but glider is a lot righter (grammar for ya sayo) than I am, so listen to him
  4. oh for the love of Einstein .. . . if this doesn't point out that we should've all been beaten up in high school, nothing will I like millimeters for measuring distances between cities, but for everything else I use nanometers although fathom is a cool word, and so is parsec
  5. it'll be all over, once you convert to the world of normal avatarism wait yours is fairly decent so help me convert everyone else

    Hi

*bans Pinch Paxton* I'd ban YT too, but he's the only hippy around Space Ghost is teh pwns j00!! (in other words, I have the coolest avatar, until I find the time to create my own)
  7. I didn't calculate them out myself to check wolfson's answers, but from what I scanned he looks correct

    Hi

sounds good ta me, who needs sleep anyway! welcome to the site, YT is right, you'll find yourself in good company here, just don't say anything about the avatars
  9. I don't see how the thread's subject or content within promote a professional sceintific atmosphere but indeed, zetatalk is the devil...
  10. I don't know if I can remember all that...
  11. sixth grade is probably the only grade next to kintergarden that I don't remember, sorry I do know that it was extremely generalized though, barely touching on just about anything related to science (doing a few reports and stuff on scientists)

    Adolf Hitler.

i'm sure the members of this forum are capable of a mature conversation concerning the matter */subtle threat*
  14. homo sapien sapiens have been around....it's either 10 or 50 thousand years or 500, I can't remember. I know there's a 1 or a 5 and a couple zero's after though. why not google it?
  15. that's a given I was just explaining that the flexibility had no influence...
  16. well how the hell do you get the difference in electric potentials if there's no electricity??
  17. indeed VM pirated my answer

    Woo woo

no you didn't, you traitor to the crown!! ...what's with the av?
  19. dangit, I just typed that whole stupid thing out...I hate this computer anyway, how are you getting voltage if there's no flow of electrons (electricity?) ? flow of electrons : voltage flow of electrons = current current : voltage or something like it I don't know, I'm going back to read up, cause I forgot a few things I think...
  20. "but it's true" was referring to the super-fied capabilities of the fiber to carry data over the copper wire copper is still more forgiving and more flexible. Flexibility in no way (that I can think of ) affects the transmission of data, since the boost comes from the way it's carried, not the flexibility EDIT: many apologies for the confusion
  21. I'm too tired to read all that, but I just want you to think about the fact that you're trying to calculate resistance to something that isn't there ... EDIT: and how the freak are you going to get voltage without current? voltage depends on the current?
  22. it doesn't really, I was just in the mood for bolding something, that's all but it's true
  23. dang YT he beat me to it but he's right doesn't this go in the "phsyics" forum?

    Interesting Website

it's a good thing we're all anonymous in here, because I have a feeling YT would be the object of a lot of hatred concerning authorities anymore (chemicals on halloween, explosives for arbitrary bystanders and radar jammers for the drunk speedway home from thanksgiving) but it sounds fun!!! now if only I could make one...*starts taking apart stuff*
  25. and because it isn't as flexible, it can transmit data at HUGELY greater capacities than copper wire: Fiber cables are skinny enough to where they are flexible and can be bent almost double, but you have to do it slowly and you'll never get that sucker straight again O_O
