hey now, we'll have none of the flaming and anger management problems going on around here... not that there is now mind you, just remember to keep it calm;) I hate forums where people seem to get mad over the stupidest little things... I don't think your preferances of posting here or posting there will get you anything more than a blank stare and a shrug of who cares from those of whom it truly matters

hm...I guess the gas could enter the body and target the memory cells (I'm no biology genius I don't know exactly) and maybe the nerves or something....you'll have to wait for blike or faf or edward or someone;)

I'm terrible at tennis:D but I do find it fun to play when I can I too, am grateful for this forum, seems nobody on this earth is interested in science anymore, even trying to debate the most basic concepts of science on other forums I get responses like "huh:|" bring all your friends doc! well maybe not the bad ones, but I doubt they'd be your friends, we could always use more regulars here

and if you have no time to fill out scholarships and grants stuff, then who cares right;) there are several factors you have to consider, what kind of life the student leads, home life, etc.

I guess this one, I don't know much about salts really, I have some basic guesses that might be right...: AgCl BaCl2 CoCl2 NaCl NH4Cl (A) what is the salt that can be distinguished by it's appearance alone? describe the observation that supports your identification. (B) Identify the salt that can be distinguished by adding 10mL of water to a small sample of each of the remaining unidentified salts and describe your observation. © Identify a chemical reagent that could be added to the salt identified in part (B) to confirm the salt's identity and describe your observation. (D) Identify the salt that can be distinguished by adding Na2SO4 to a small sample of each of the remaining unidentified salts, describe the observation that supports your identification (E) Identify the salt that can be distinguished by adding 1M NaOH to a small sample of each to the remaining unidentified salts and describe your observation --- I haven't done much with salts, and I don't really have access to anything to help me test this out so it would have to all be theoretical, so I thought I'd get some help smarter than I am;)

bah ditch the motorcycles, too outdone and boring;) well...at least from the "cool nerd" 's point of view, stick with what you're doing, if people percieve you as smart...all the better^_^ however, you may wish to add some cool effect or something..or talk loudly...I can't even hold my fellow students' interest in things like that and they're in chemistry in high school;) (note: I'm doing college chemistry, not high school...blah..boring high school science...)

sorry, I worked out most of the other problems, not this one yet, I think the pH was..lemme check actually....the pH was 3.9 for the lactic acid (HC3H5O3)... hm... how annoying:rolleyes:

you know, I have another basic question that I can't seem to get figured out *scratches head* but I know how much you guys love science anyways:D so... calculate the pH of a solution formed by dissolving 0.045 moles of solid sodium lactate NaC3H5O3 in 250 mL of 05 M HC3H5O3. Assume that colume change is negligible there are a few more like that too and I almost worked it out but that's alright:D I think if I get some sleep instead of trying to do it on an empty stomache and 2 hours of sleep I might be able to get it;) but I'm not that patient

I find that in studying for a test, you usually try to remember things that aren't real, so it's better to learn the material right off and don't study everything right before the test of course not stressing over it is a big help as well;)

we'll sure hear a bunch of "uh oh" 's and "oh crap"'s I'm sure;) a central nucleus with orbiting protons and electrons..?O_o hehe... wish I coulda been there^_^

hehe..I can't remember where it was, but this one guy was always hearing about people water cooling their systems and so he filled his tower with water from a hose and tried that... not really funny, just something I suddenly thought of;)

magazines like scientific american use words like "nuke" to let the less-intelligent people have a chance to understand it, and in doing so increase their sales^_^
