Biofuel is easy and cheap.. the problem of biofuel is that if you use normal area land to grow plants for biofuel, it can't be used for growing normal eatable crops for humans.... i.e. farmer who is making biofuel is not making food, so there is less farmers making food, so food price grows..

Majority of people coming here are posting videos (usually in the couple the first few posts *) they made by themselves with their pet-theories, or theories they support (like flat earthers, or similar nonsense). They place link to their video just to promote the video, to get attention, and viewers. Presence of such video on scientific website is suggesting other members/viewers of the forum, that provided information about pet theory is true and scientific knowledge... *) couple years ago I even suggested swansont to make filter (or custom PHP script) which will automatically inform moderators about that newbie member made post with some URL.. but received negative response that they (mods) would be flood by notifications. What is created in this process, is used the same year, 1:1. Concentration of CO2 in the air will remain the same. I was couple times promoting e.g. GMO algae which will be modified in such a way to give product not dissolvable in water for easier extraction. Petrol, hydrocarbons, oil which is pumped from the ground by petroleum industry, during processing and burning, releases carbon dioxide entrapped millions years ago, and its concentration in the air is growing.

If kids in North Korea learn that their leader is the greatest, the most powerful one, the wisest, the strongest, the richest on the world etc. etc. and the rest of world is suffering illness and hunger bigger than North Koreans, are not they brainwashed.. ? Discussion about it would require translating different countries historical books used in schools on history lessons and careful comparison of their versions of the same historical event.. Just for a start.. Even the same event in the same country, written ten, twenty years ago, is showed in different light, or even ignored, depending on who wrote that book, and his or her, political beliefs of author of the book. How do you find objective truth about some historical event, if historical books are almost the only source of information about the event? A few years ago leading software company created advanced chatbot AI and let people talk with it to learn it new things. People started using rude words, not political correct language, gangsta-like phrases, etc. Experiment has been cancelled shortly, just after couple days, because AI started behaving like mixture of US gang member, plus nazis, fascist, etc etc.. Yes. People drinking alcohol in ancient and medieval times were more healthier than people not drinking alcohol (i.e. home made beer and wine). Microbes dislike ethanol, especially in larger concentrations. The toughest yeast is dying at >20% concentration of ethanol. But if you have to drink water from river which is not clean (no sewage treatment plants) or drink wine, made of grapes, obviously healthier people will be the second one.. Human attachment to specific piece of land is (used to be) consequence of agriculture. i.e. if land is feeding person and his or her family, there is no need to leave it. Obviously climate change, global warming, will change it, and people will have to leave their fatherlands and move to more moderate climate regions such as Europe or North America. I would say it's quite "natural law" to seek for lands which can feed you and your family. No matter if it's human, animal, plant or microorganism. They all search for new territories to settle. If territory is giving everything they need, they are progressing in that direction (therefor natural barriers of countries are typically oceans, mountains, rivers etc. lands which are very hard/impossible to settle on)
