It seems any governmental organizational structure operated by human beings will express the inability of people to integrate the three minds, reptilian, emotional, intellectual. The incessant conflict between the 3 causes any system to be problematic, and seems most evident in the compartmentalization of group dynamics, which express most clearly those internal conflicts of jealously guarded domains. These limitations seem inevitable as they are hardwired by the machinery of evolution and offered our species an avenue of survival in the part of the animal world we evolved through...

A change in opacity and color ( variable cross-linking) could be effected in certain areas of a gel that un-links spontaneously (un-writes) at a high rate, certain primary colors being stimulated by 3 invisible lasers. In this, there is less info required as un-writing is automatic and each completed scan offers a brief, single (3D) field at a normal 60hz refresh rate. Allowing lasers to stimulate certain proximate points would offer an addition of primary colors into a full range. Each axis would need a laser for each primary color, with a total of 9, with a requirement of all three lasers to converge in order to complete an output (cross linking) at a certain point within the gel. The gel would have to be back-lit and would be a passive display, similar to a LCD of today.

If the electrics were to have battery/caps in various standard sizes, and those standard sizes were available for replacement in an exchange system at charging stations, then a fully charged battery/cap could be quickly installed, the old battery/cap traded in and recharged for later testing and resale. This could be done in no more time than to add gas at a traditional gas station. On a high amperage quick disconnect, the lighter batteries for compacts could be exchanged by the customers in most cases. Larger vehicles would have bigger, heavier units to exchange and be priced accordingly. Another possibility is to offer charging stations a subsidized solar/wind utility upgrade, to help the greening technology further...

I could imagine that 3D printing could be scaled up in speeds of "write-unwrite" to 60 hz, which would offer a 3D video . Materials are made with a compression algorithm to simplify background info, concentrating on active elements which would require the most data. This could allow a "circular fishtank" arcitechure to upcoming television...

Is time discrete? (split from time does not have a speed)
hoola replied to davidivad's topic in Speculations
I agree with the idea behind what you say, as long as you qualify terms such as "literally" and "physicality" and "real", as I don't see anything actually provable to being physical, only descriptions of physicality within the mathematical object. Which is why I say time is information based, as any material object is in the end, informational. -

I don't think that applies to this situation... -
as we approach the BB mathematics appears to become unreliable at predicting. I have perceived this as suggesting math somehow breaks down at those scales. I could see it as not a failure, but looking backwards toward math's assembly at the outstart of transitional expression of : from logic to logics to math, to maths, the universe being the amplification of the final four close developmental elements...with This as... the( eventual and continuing)output... I also could see that the classical world evolved out of the quantum one, as an example of the actively evolving universe at work, and both states exist as adjacent steps that express the universe in it's current adaptive configuration, and the fuzzy connections between them as a representative model of other transitions within the IBH model as the information became more and more complex...

Is time discrete? (split from time does not have a speed)

yes, an average can't be a minimum, but it could be an effective driver of the cosmological constant, and as such, lending some notion of the range of values permitted to individual particles... -

zero time is no time at all, and therefore a non starter (pun intended)....it seems they have an average time of existence, with an averaged mass and period of flux with an overall consistency that the cosmic expansion seems to show.. -

it would seem that the smallest fundamental increment of time in the physical universe is the flux frequency/sec. of a virtual particle as it appears and then annialates. So, time informationaly dependent on the harmonic oscillators at each point of space, whirling chunks of PI. I see the particle fluxing delivering the dark energy on the macro scale... -
wouldn't it slow down as you approach C, dimming along with the planet. I would presume it would remain visible until distances would bring the cosmolgical constant into play and you would reach the edge of the light cone and all visible cues would be lost...

thanks, peace on the light mass link....it stated that light can exhibit gravitational effects on matter, that makes me wonder if two parallel light beams closely aligned would attract each other, and would that attraction necessarily cause the beams to drift towards each other ?

I am not contesting the speed of light in a vacuum, only that if virtual particle interaction in space might lend some mass to the photons, and affect speed....
-
I recently read that the speed of light through glass slows down slightly due to a small effective increase in mass of the photons due to frequency dependent interactions with the medium. I also read that the speed of light might be higher than through a vacuum if virtual particles could somehow be removed from a pathway in space conducting a beam of light. Does this mean that photons have a small mass due to the interactions with virtual particles, and the speed of light in a vacuum is not truly a fundamental value, and "C" must be revised upward to a theoretical maximum within a VP free enviornment ?

how can a string not be composed of anything and remain a viable entity? If strings are "strings of numbers", that would satisfy the requirement of allowing them a modus of existence, particular properties, and avenue of analysis...

If pure energy cannot exist on it's own, then what is the composition of strings, which I have understood described as pure energy?

I have heard on regular network tv reports of a "sound" like a warbley melotron, but there was no indication of what that really means. I presume it is a radio signal, and emitted from interactions of the outgassing, but nothing further on how this sound was picked up... -
too bad it releases the CO2 back into the air if heated, that would complicate it being used as a sequestering device on power plants and part of the catalytic converter on car engines...

yes, an electric field of negative potential = the "charge field" of an electron in my usage...
-
so an electron has no charge field, only a self-contained charge ?
-
I mean an amount of the total energy (as charge field) being the mechanism that allows the 2 plates to "see" each other...and afford the relationship that allows a charge between proximate plates to exist...certainly an electron has a charge field. It would seem the charge field would collapse back into the negative plate upon discharge, returning the energy that was used to create this field...
-
so, the charge field is an effect of the electron imbalance between the 2 plates, not the primary energy storage, but a component mechanism of the entire capacitor system. Isn't some energy "borrowed" from the voltage potential in the creation of this separate field (hence some portion of the initial charge current), that is returned upon the discharge of the cap from the field back to the plate system? This is presuming the field physically exists within the domain of the dielectric between the 2 plates...
-
yes, electrons are added to one plate and pulled from another, but where do the extra electrons sit on the negative plate? What physical position within the atomic structure of the metal atoms? And what is happening to the metal atoms on the positive plate as this process occurs? What determines the maximum gain/loss of these mobile electrons on the respective plates?
-
a few months ago, I raised this question about charge storage mechanism and the general consensus didn't explain why happens clearly, at least to me...I do remember my idea of charge storage within the dielectric was deemed incorrect and that the charge is stored by a field between the metal plates. I don't think any response listed precisely how or if the phenomena of charge manifests any atomic changes within (or on the proximate surfaces) of the plate structures, as I presume there must be some, and the extent of that change signifies field strength. If charge causes no change in the dielectric, then shouldn't there be some change in the plates that secondarily manifests this field..?
