  1. Not everything is science! Can you measure you feelings, thoughts and more? But they exist in this physical universe. Even here in this forum and in the scientific world there is a use of philosophical explanations/answers for new or unsolved Scientific questions that rise in research. Like multy universe, like hologram and so on. So do not ask for a prove. I don't have to prove that you are thinking, and if I have, your participation in this forum is the prove. Can you educate me how the science can prove this? Simon
  2. Yes!!! Yes!!!- the space is infinite and the universe is finite, just so simple! I agree to this, but your examples are mathematical (theoretical), what I'm talking about is on the physical side, that means "the matter". About paradoxes, there are, I can't explain them ether. But in general, if there is something unexplained, it does not mean there is not an explanation. About the geometry, or mathematics, all was progressed from their points, as you know there was a big gap between them and the people you mentioned and almost no one was filling this gap. So as I see, we have to be little modesty and to respect them for what they achieved. Please, pay attention to what I said about Aristotle's, I mentioned his theory about the metaphysics, to say that there something behind the physics, and these you can't calculate or measure! Simon
  3. Nothing! No difference in this case. I raised Aristotle not for his physics but for his meta-physic! Also, if we are talking about these ancient all the math is based on them. This is they had wisdom to develop theories but did not have the tool to experiment as we do, so don't hold Them cheap… Simon
  4. Expanding means expanding! The volume become bigger and bigger, that distance between things are increasing (on large scales). Therefore the last thing on the end is far from where it was. The example you give has nothing to compare with our case, numbers are infinite but not the matter! you didn't get the point simon Did you read him, or you jus makeup you mind? simon
  5. you got me wrong simon
  6. the space is infinite but not the universe! do you hold the theory that the universe expands? evidence has a reason if you accept it or not, that what the scientists are looking. Simon
  7. As I understand the meaning of the universe concept, that it is a complete and perfect system and mutual influence, how can you say that some is topological limited and some is infinite. Values are effecting matter, if you have additional matter, you need for it more space if you do not have more space it become more dense. Anyway, because there is infinite space, it doesn't mean the universe will be infinite or the values will be infinite. For these you need infinite energy and infinite growing gravity force to hold all stand, if not it will collapse. This is uneducated opinion, and I'll be happy to learn more, specially from my mistakes. Simon
  8. the mathematics is tool used in the physics scince to calculate, research, express etc. physical theories. some time, during the calculations, the result is unexpected and has to be explained, the explanation can be a new theory. Some of them are correct some of them can be not. Not all the universe is physical! Aristotle said, there is physics and metaphysics, these means the metaphysics can't be calculated. Anyway, there are some physical theories that are more philosophical than physical. Simon
  9. what i said is that as long the universe expands it can't be infinit. i don't care about tne expantion way, it can be as you like... simon
  10. if the universe expands, it is not yet infinite! simon
  11. number is not a matter but the universe is a matter. therefore, only one infinite universe can fill the infinite space, if there are two universes, one is the finite of the other. if you describe the universe as a membrane and the other universe also a membrane which a layer above the first, then each one can expend to 5 diractions but not 6, then you get a finite universe. also i think, that the universe will expand infinitly, it will collapse on the way because the "weakness" of the forces holding the universe in possition. if this is correct, then the universe must be finite! simon
  12. hello young archimedes, by definition infinite is big as the infinite therefore, it's impossible for two universes to exsit at the same time. also, becaude the universe expands, it will never be infinite... simon
  13. if so, then for instance we can see that one more universe is not enough, because we find this universe not answering all questions we have about the first universe, not only this, mayby new questions comes up, and add a third universe and so on. therefore, maybe the answer is not in this theory? for my poor understanding if the universe is expandiding only infinitely so only one universe can be exsit. if the universe is finit then my question still stands.
  14. what helps us the theory of multiple universe to understand our universe? simon
  15. .1 as I understand, one particle can be in two places at the same time. for instance tha particle that is building the table can be in the table and in the same time sumewere els. my question is are we talking about two particles or about one. if we are talking about one particle, what makes the table exist at the time the particle is sumewere els? . 2what makes the string vibrate according to the string theory? )I'm apologizing for my poor English( simon
