Gluons and Force carriers

I thought qgp allowed them to exist as free particles -
Gluons and Force carriers
dibinvaderzim replied to dibinvaderzim's topic in Modern and Theoretical Physics
After knowing ,y previous defeat, I have been looking at particles and learned abouta theoretical particle a glueball. They say it is possible for it to exist because gluons have color charge. The only supposed reason why the have not found itnyet is because gluons are very hard to detect. -
Gluons and Force carriers

What about the island of stability? Even though they are related to magic numbers they probably have something to do gluonic fields. And I do understand gluonic fields and why this wouldn't work. I may not have the best understanding compared to you because you are practically a professional ( I don't kno,w) but you also have to thought I am only 12, thus do not have the best understanding compared to a professional scientist. -

there is probably some way to augment a gluonic field -
Gluons and Force carriers

so what? lead or heavy ions when accelerated into a target, can create qgp. Also, since it looks like you need two individual targets very close together, like a nucleus it looks like this theoretical device (if ever to work) would have better purposes for holding together unstable atoms like actinium. -
Gluons and Force carriers
dibinvaderzim replied to dibinvaderzim's topic in Modern and Theoretical Physics
actually, lead ions as much as it sounds gimmicky are what the lhc use sometimes and how you make quark gluon plasma. that is why at the bottom of my post you will notice the qgp. -
Gluons and Force carriers
dibinvaderzim replied to dibinvaderzim's topic in Modern and Theoretical Physics
in that case, if you had a secondary target it should function right? and there is probably a way to rectify your gluons. If you can create them with lead ions there must be a way, maybe a different type of ion since they produce qgp -
Gluons and Force carriers
dibinvaderzim replied to dibinvaderzim's topic in Modern and Theoretical Physics
gluonsi do realize that quarks do compose atoms and are unstable but i do not believe that gluons even compose atoms. it is like saying w bosons make up the world. but i don't know that much yet because i am twelve -
Hey guys!!!! I know that I haven't been on for umpteen months but I am back! I had so much homework and have been absent so I haven't been on for a while. Anyway, last time I posted i was talking about gluons and how you could maybe hold together particles and i am back with that topic. So... First of all, since a gluon is that force carrier of the strong nuclear force, and force carriers inhibit the given force on the world, wouldn't it be that particles in the given target area, as long as bombarded with gluons, should stay together right? Now before commenting, please read this: I would not attempt to do this considering the fact you would need a particle accelerator and lead ions, not to mention that fact you would need to extract the quarks from the workspace ( i have no idea how to do that), and the extreme cost. Please answer because i need to know because i want to be a particle physicist or nuclear.... By the way, two things. First, do you guys think i am a terrorist because of my first post? I must admit, it was a weird thing to start off with. Second, how do I gain reputation points? I would like to be known about (not in a ludicrous or harsh manner).

Hello, i M back with a brand new idea for holding together ustable atoms, or forms of matter for informational purposes. First you would need a vacum chamber, and electromagnetic sphere and a source of gluons. Then, in a selerate chamber with the heavy element, you would bombard it with a constan stream of gluons. Please help me fine tune this idea!

and why would I? This is strictly for informational purposes. I have better things to do -

ThSorr y I havent been posting recently. I have come up with an idea in his film, they say he used thorium lantern mantles to get thorium- 232, an alpha particle emitter. Combine this with cheap isotopes from tritium keychains, smoke detectors and some sheilding equippment, and voila! A neutron gun!! P.S boy scouts will do anything to get things done beleive me, my friend ( a boy scout) spent over $800 just to make a garden fence at my school for his eagle scout project -

Sorry I havent been posting recently, I was at school. Anyway, he could get the reactor to worlk bycreating heavy isotopes with combined alpha particle sources and could avoid some of the radiation with tons of tungsten and lead. -

True, but if he gained more smoke dectors and beryllium, he could have gotten through. And I am aware that he nearly put 40,000 at risk and irradiated his mother's property I meant 40,000 people -
Hello peoples of the internet, I am dibinvaderzim. I had an idea about the radioactive boy scout thingy. See, the officials say that the reactor was unfinished and never fuctioned, but he was really close to creating an operational breeder reactor. He got a plethora of ionizing smoke detectors, then extracted the americium-241 then got aluminium and a lead block and mode a neutron gun. His project could have easily been completed by submerging parts of the reactor with the irradiated fuel in water, so when the fissle material came out of the process, it would boil the water , which would travel into a turbine, thus creating power. Correct? I am not to sure. Please correct me if I am wrong and go easy on me , I am only 11yrs old!!!!!
