  1. Hello John, Could you be more specific? Whch ions or salts make this happen? Regards.
  2. Hello everyone, I am wondering about Humidity Card. It is used for many purpose different Industries. Simply, it is a card that absorbes the humidty and changes colour. Slica gel is used for as an absorbing material. But the challange is how do they provide the relativity. I saw the original product. It has levels from 20 to 60 and when it absorbs the humidity first 20 than 40 and finally 60 turns from blue to pink. How can this be done? I attached a picture in order to be understand better. You can see levels. If anyone has an idea please let me know. Thanks.
  3. Thanks for replying, As I said I will use it in desiccator cards. Thus, it should be in blue form. That's why I added HCl. But it precipitated. I want it cream because I want to use it in desiccator which attached here. Normally in these cards, first lavender part turns from blue to pink than indicates part and finally humidty part turns. I thought that If I insert different amounts to card with cream form than I can make the 20-40-60 thing. You can understand from the link above.
  4. Hello everyone, I need a help about making the solution of Cobalt Chloride Hexahydrate. I already tried water and HCl but it did not work. I want it to be solved like sugar/salt in water. Which solvent is proper for this? I will use it in humidity desicators. In addition; I am also wondering that how can make paste/cream of it? Is it possible? I would be greatfull if anyone helps. Best Regards.
