it is most likely that the planet would either orbit one star closely or orbit both stars like they were one big one (put simple). a figure 8 pattern would be slingshot out into space to become a rogue planet. even if the math just so happened to work out it would only last a short time as solar wind, star fuel consumption, and many other variables would quickly imbalance the integrity of such a spectacle.

pretty much everything you do can be tracked. the rest can be found out by what you do not do. think linux is safe? think again... the only way to trust your own OS is to go through the code and select your own OS components, compile your software from source upon severe scrutiny, and custom build your own rig knowing exactly what is in it. everything has a chip now and has potential to exploit your system. start by keeping a full record of events and learn where to find clues about the others you can't see. you would be amazed at what an "empty" flash drive is capable of. even more amazed at what is hiding within the partitions of your hard drive. your router is not really yours to begin with.

Cause of Gravity? - Gravitons or Curvature of SpaceTime?
davidivad replied to Preserve's topic in Classical Physics
my prediction of the future. science has reduced itself to "whack a mole." praise god... burn everything down in his name! -
you don't need a manual to fix that. you need betty boop. it may be cheaper to build your own than to find replacement tubes. http://www.tubesandmore.com/

you need a 300-in-one electronics kit from radio shack. there are smaller and cheaper ones out there. it helps you get a good understanding of basic and digital electronics. the best thing about the 300-in-one is that it has a breadboard for prototyping your new circuit ideas. back in my day, i had a 200-in-one with a mess of springs (still a ton of fun). i built a railgun once myself. it was a verrry simple design that relied on the brute force of a car battery and no electronics at all. I was grounded for putting a hole in the wall and not allowed to "fix" anything for quite some time. i seriousely doubt you would be in harm's way with a 9-volt.

Cause of Gravity? - Gravitons or Curvature of SpaceTime?

some strange things happen when you go from a flat surface to a curved one. consider the reiman curvature tensor. -
I have to agree with Popcorn. today's science flicks are not caught up with the amount of information overload that leaves people staggering away from thier I-phones and internet connections. someone needs to turn these housecats into tigers that bite you in the #$% and send you away preferring a spanking. basicly, today's requirement for content is much greater. our audience expects more. i might even go for a reality series with scientists. example: ted is feverishly working against the clock with his rivals doing some pointless experiment he can't find funding for. his latest stride ahead of the competition lands him a seat with the local campus think tank. his first visit is made akward as amongst the tea and buiscut conversation he breaks out a flask. he makes an immediate friend who runs his department but a hopeful sponsor ends up breaking a ten year sobriety. .... we need to also show the human side of science so that people can socially relate.

have you considered quantum chemistry?

great! you picked the right forum. welcome to the neighborhood.

this may be a bit off topic but still bathroom related so i feel it must not be missed. did you know that a toilet bowl has it's own ring when you flush it? the catch is to be at the right distance from the bowl.

cool song. i have always wanted to do something like this but do not have the patience or ear.

you are so serious about the specifics that you missed the main idea. -

this seems to me to be mostly a problem with effective communication and part of first year learning. how you communicate your thoughts must not abandon your audience. i feel abandoned if i agree with one over the other. is that truly effective communication? one may consider that gravity is a consequence of the curvature of spacetime. one may also consider that gravity is the result of a field. this is why my original response stated " is it a particle or a wave." i might normally consider trying to maintain repore with my readers but, at this time, consider it more important to convey the feeling that you pass off to your readers. my point is that scientists in today's arena need to do more than just argue the point. you must also be everything in between. please consider your audience. thank you for a proffesional response @Kevin D. -

just to rustle some feathers... 1,1.3,1.33,1.333,1.3333 you would be correct if you said you will never have two in a binary set. filpping a two headed coin that lands on tails is still a possibility althogh the odds are so high you will never likely see it unless someone has tricked you. i, for posterity, move forward the idea that it is not an impossibility as much as it is undefined. a probability that dwarfs your lifetime unless you like to gamble. the fact is that the possibility of an advanced lifeform is not equal to a two headed coin. it is a reasonable possibility however short the communication window is. if you do not believe tails is a possibility consider quantum mechanics. -
thank you, i did not know that.

it therefore not only relies upon genes.

i know i should have rung in this party sooner. to say that there is no choice is silly. i have several friends gay and bisexual that have argued this very point over beer with me. i also know a cross dresser that simply dresses that way because he wants to (this is his explanation). where are the genes in that? he likes women... one gay friend claims that the bisexual is not really bi because you are either that way or you are not. the bisexual claims it was a choice. could it be that some of us are predisposed genetically? yes. this does not mean it is that way for everyone. to think there is no choice in life is insane and very misleading. maybe if you argue with a gay or bi individual long enough he or she will believe you. unknown unknown...

Infinite Uinverses Would Suggest Some Form Of God Exists

i suppose that under such circumstances everything is possible. fogive my scrutiny- who am i to say you cannot ask the question. i know that many people believe there are advanced civilizations out there visiting us and possibly had a hand in our creation. personally i think that the window of existence for a civilization is too small for the distances and chances of life evolving. that is not to say that the dice will not roll thier favor with technologies not dreamed of yet by us. we are the goldilocks of goldilocks in this void in my opinion. i often wonder why we do not have more than one base form of life on this planet.
