In both cases please also elaborate their structures. To attempt this question please keep starch structure in mind. Question 2: Characteristic through which land animals protect themselves from dehydration is called "Anhydrobiosis". In summer land animals love to eat carbohydrate diet as compared to proteins diet. Same is true about you. In winter you like "dry fruits", rich of proteins while in summer you probably like diet which is rich of carbohydrates. Why it so? How carbohydrates can prevent us from dehydration? Question 3: Our membranes are made up of lipids and it is said that biological membranes have self-sealing property and its true also. By taking into account of lipids properties please explain how membranes can seal themselves?
