Science Creates Religion? Religion Creates Science?
Nicholas Kang replied to Nicholas Kang's topic in Religion
I had apologize and end that matter now. No plagiarism. Keep searching for what? Uniting science and religion or just take it as nothing different, or not to think of such question, or simply ignore the crazy effort to unite science and religion. Take it as what it is. Don`t think to unite them. -
Lightning-The New Source of Electricity? [Resolved: No!]
Nicholas Kang replied to Nicholas Kang's topic in Speculations
In conclusion, we can use lightning to generate electricity but this is hardly possible due to the fact that it is not economical because the price of materials needed to build the lightning conductor generator is expensive. May I know which material of the hypothetical generator is expensive? Is it the receiver, the transmission process? Or other technical problems? -
Our sun has one solar mass and it wouldn`t evolved into supergiants. The Sun will finally evolved into a red giant and then when the He fuel runs out, a planetary nebula will take place. What is left will be just a white dwarf which finally shrinks and fade off to form a black dwarf. Our Earth will be "evaporated" as the Sun`s expand due to core collapsing inwards and the Sun will eventually reaches beyond Venus orbits and maybe Earth or beyond. So, there might be a possibility of Earth either being engulfed by the Sun or evaporated due to the close distance between Sun and the Earth. If you treat the Sun as a supergiants like blue, bluish-white or white supergiants, they will eventually explode in a spectacular supernova or even hypernova for large stars, then if the core left behind is more than 3-4 times of solar mass, the strong gravitational force will continue to crush the neutron star which is supposed to be formed if the core is less than 3 times of solar mass and until a point know as singularity. It marks the border of Physics/Modern Physics. Currently, Stephen Hawking`s new paper suggested that the event horizon which marks the point of no-return can`t be found, so there is no black hole, instead he called it a grey hole. Because the paper is short, scientists still need further examination of our universe to confirm Hawking`s theory. If you treat the sun as supergiants which are going to explode in a supernova, then the sun would actually engulf the Earth before turning into Wolf-Rayet Stars or WF Stars, which mark the moments before a supernova take place.

String theory is not the only theory claimed as a fundamental theory. But, I think this is to no end. What creates string theory and so on. Son sounds like nothing is fundamental in the world. Maybe our consciousness is the most fundamental one because it domainates everything.

Is Relativity 100% proven to all professional scientists satisfaction?

I have read the same topic on Ira Mark Egdall`s Einstein Relatively Simple too. I don`t think I am lack of knowledge with gravity, though I should learn more about it. -
Science Creates Religion? Religion Creates Science?

Ok, I learnt something new today. I am actually shocked with the fact that there are 19 different meanings for IIRC and 49 different meanings for IRC. So, no objections. -

Sorry for misunderstanding. So, what are the failures of GPS? Are you discussing about who is responsible to be blamed on the GPS failures? Or about proving Relativity? -

You mean human errors are negligible? What do you mean by failures in GPS? Poor communication? GPS are not wrong. They are designed to apllicate GR to prevent gravitational time dilation. GR or the theory benefits human. If they were wrong, they can`t benefit human and why should we use GPS then? -

I think it is better to use appropriate and correct English than weird abbrevations like imo and IIRC. IRC is sometimes regarded as International Red Crescent. This sounds like plagiarize. -

Who created cheap navigation system? Again, it is we, human. If there is nothing wrong with GPS, then why blaming on the receivers? Receivers carry 2 meanings 1. We, human who use GPS 2. The receiver installed in your car 1. Why blaming on receivers-we, human. All of the members on SFN are human, so you are actually blaming yourself 2. This is the problem of poor advancement in technology, blame yourself if this was right. -

Can we alter the materials needed to lower the cost. I mean instead of chosing expensive materials, can I choose cheaper materials to build the Lightning Power Station? -
Science Creates Religion? Religion Creates Science?
Nicholas Kang replied to Nicholas Kang's topic in Religion
First question, what does imo means? I came across this word for a few times and still couldn`t get the meaning. Next, if Science and Religion are incompatibile, then why some scientists used to study religion druing their last few years, like Newton. he did try to prove that God exist but failed till he died. -

We are wrong to use GPS? It is our fault? I think it is more of Nature`s fault. We invented GPS and we semmed like making a huge mistake by inventing it. So, we should blame ourselves? -
Do you think the effort of defining time is a waste of time? I learnt a lesson from the earlier topic regarding the classification of Pluto as a dwarf planet or a planet. Mr. imatfaal taught me that Science is objective but not subjective. So, there should be too many definition for Time, shouldn`t it? And we hardly know which is correct.

Stephen Hawking tells you Black Hole doesn`t exist at all. Do you think he had actually seen a Black Hole before? So, no more black hole, but grey hole. -

A true scientist will challenge each other to reveal the secret of the nature to the public and benefits human race. -
When things get larger and wider in scale, they become more certain, vivid, clear and solid. When things are getting smaller and smaller, they become more uncertain. So, a possible consequence is that you can see a wide space-time vividly and clearly by Mathematical description with enclosed diagrams and visualizations but when you magnify the space-time continuum, it gets more incertain and uncertain until you reach a point which you can conclude that the space-time is uncertain. So, I don`t know. I doubt the key to this question lies between the border between QM and GR. The grey area between these 2 theories is wide and not clearly understood. You can just investigate this field and find the answer to this question first before uniting them. Yes, I am very sure this is the key to unting QM and GR. And he/she will get Nobel Prize.

Science Creates Religion? Religion Creates Science?
Nicholas Kang replied to Nicholas Kang's topic in Religion
Yes, I am seeking for someone who is able to connect/link those 2 almost-entirely-different fields-religion and Science. Dear Peter J, It seems that you are trying to separate them but my intention is to connect and unite them. This inspiration actually came across my mind when I am thinking of the effort of scientists uniting Quantum Mechanics and Einstein`s Theory of Relativity. Although both theories are form Science, I still insist that there must be something shared among Religion and Science. Some examples: 1. Some myths and legends can be solved by Science 2. The Heisenberg`s Uncertainty Principle can somehow explain the probabilities in Religion, maybe yes, maybe no, it is just my own thought 3. The God that is suspected to create us and our universe may share the same properties with the Big Bang theory, again, just maybe- 212 replies

Things get even complicated when you see it as space-time continuum.

Maybe and some other characteristics you can think of.
