I shall say Congratulations to your friends but in the Eastern Asia and countries like Malaysia, same-sex marriage is offended. I personally disagree with same-sex marriage. Sorry if this hurts you but this is my own point of view.

Space is not a substance. It is where substances are located in.

Furthering the thrust toward explanation
Nicholas Kang replied to Popcorn Sutton's topic in Speculations
Imagination? Maybe yes but if it is just imagination then why such topic can be published on Wikipedia? -
No, you cannot. If yes, I can`t explain to my friends and family members how is it possible that WIFI, TV, Microwave oven and other electrical appliances work. Good analogy I think light does travel but my question is vacuum has no medium. If light is a wave, then it needs medium to vibrate and propogate. If light can travel through a vacuum, then what is the medium? Good example and this is how most solar cells work, am I right?

Thanks for teaching me maths and physics. I agree with your point. Yes. Science is quintessentially objective. A scientific definition must be universal and everyone can use it in the same way. If not, that is not Science. Think objective, think Science. -
If time is relative, does it share the same characteristic with entropy?

Does Humour Have a Place on SFN?

You are right, Acme and it depends on the context. So, think of your situation and where you are before expressing your humour. -
Furthering the thrust toward explanation

I don`t see imaginary time as a mature physics topic but it is good to learn and explore more about it. Moreover, the information on wikipedia isn`t as many as the theory which it is derived from-quantum mechanics. -

Lightning-The New Source of Electricity? [Resolved: No!]

And you must take the sustainability factor into account too. Petroleum and natural gas are cheap but they pollute the environment and don`t last long. -
Processed foods and their impact on our bodies.
Nicholas Kang replied to too-open-minded's topic in Biology
Charles Darwin`s Theory of Evolution and Natural Selection may answer your question. It is good to be open-minded. -
My question is does time change? Or just simply the entropy change? If time changes, then it shares the same characteristics with entropy.

Thanks for your videos, I am What.

I came across books and magazines showing that supernovas aren`t happened in spherical motion, which means the heat and light aren`t detected in an equally spherical shape but there are some distorted areas. Why can this happen?

And the series equation for the circuit.
-
Ok, so electron-dot structure is Lewis structure. BTW, thanks Dr.swantson.

Lightning-The New Source of Electricity? [Resolved: No!]

That picture is authentic, Sensei. -
Ok, it seems that I am wrong from the beginning of the post, I shouldn`t post this hot topic with over 105 replies and 1137 views. I am wrong. Ok, I get what Mr. imatfaal and Mr. Ophiolite`s message. I should accept reputations. It is a must for me to enter the adult world. -1 doesn`t mean the end of my world. So, with no objections starting from now, I declare the fact that 1. I agree with the forum`s administrators, resident experts and moderators comment about the current reputation system 2. No modification is needed for the current reputation system. 3. We should continue with the current reputation system. 4. I won`t be angry and feel sad with the reputations given by members in this forum 5. Let`s just continue with our journey towards a better tomorrow. Thanks. Regards, Nicholas Kang

Are you sure that the diagram is called electron-dot diagram or it is called Lewis Structure? A3X2 I don`t understand what do you mean by the 2 electrons in the electron-dot diagram because I haven`t heard of the electron-dot diagram before. Based on my speculation, I think most probably because 8 is the amount of electrons needed to achieve stability for the first stave of the electron orbits/quantum shells. If possible, please tell me what is electron-dot diagram. Thanks.

It did sound like a homework question. And I am learning it in my school. My teacher taught us Chapter 7-Electricity and your question is part of my teacher`s explanation. Since Mr. Ophiolite wanted you to try it out first, why don`t you try some equations out and we can help you. (Maybe not me but Mr. Ophiolite)

Great, and I love it. Do you agree with them? Or you have your own speculation?

Thanks. Acme. It is my pleasure to have such a good teacher like you.
