haha, it would be fun but these "fellows" sacrified their lives in return.

excess food from photosyn is always stored as starch and kept in the cells doing photosyn to be use later in respiration. However, if there are cells that requires food then it will be transported to them via the phloem. these cells are like fruits, flowers, roots etc. Certain plants have storage organs to store these food for latter usage like asexual reproduction such as tuber, bulbs, corm etc.

Those who post threads in here most are desperate and helpless, so am I. Recently I am working on Respiration Project + Assignment. The 1st project is working pyruvate molecules with radioactive carbon. Then they all incubated with all components of Krebs cycle long enough for 1 turn. Then I need to explain why the CO2 produced only one third of it is radioactive? So, I decide to start with Glycolysis Process until oxidative-decarboxylation of pyruvate because there's where the CO2 is released before entering Krebs Cycle, am I making a good start? My another question is imagine a starving cell reached the stage where every bit of its ATP was depleted and converted to ADP + phosphate. If the cell were placed in fresh nutrien broth at this point, will it recover and survive? My mind is totally blank for this question, so I just need some clues where should I start with and what is the purpose of this question, the rest I'll work for myself. Thanks in advance.

Can I know how to predict the relative respiratory rates of different tissue in a fish by microscopic examination of cells?

Primarygun: the rate of photosynthesis and the occurance of photosynthesis in a tall tree. Thanks, The Resourceful One. So, how to determine the rate of photosynthesis in a tall tree? My mind is totally blank , hope to get some clues.

Any idea about an experiment of photosynthesis that I can conduct in a tall tree? I have an louzy idea: pluck a fresh leaf and count the number of bubbles inside Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate slolution with light source. Got better idea?
