Lets move polar bears to Antarctica
Hendrick Laursen replied to Basic Biology's topic in Ecology and the Environment
Migration is just an 'escape' not an 'answer'. The main issue is that we, "HUMANS", are corrupting our planet. If the Arctic melts away, do you think how long Antarctica will survive? -
Good point, me too.

Math isn't a language by itself, but it has it's own language. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Language_of_mathematics

Am I the only one who doesn't get to the core of this topic? You want to say Bible contains mistakes and we all know it already.

Hijack from Recommended Religious Reading

Upanishads -
Hi yahya, Your above quote could be taken as a disrespect to Muslims. Also, it seems that David (Father of King Solomon) was one of the greatn grandfathers of Mary. So, calling Jesus Christus son of David is not wrong at all.

Certainly Bible has mistakes: The OT is over 30 books, neither Pentateuch are what is considered as be the real "Torah" (Books revealed to Moses) nor the Joshua, nor the Judges, ... . We happen to have a Bible with lot's of Paradoxes. The same story goes for the NT; Gospel of Matthew is less than %30 accurate comparing with Gospel of Saint John, however its %86 accurate comparing with the other two. (St Luke, St Mark) Gospel of St. John is > %80 accurate comparing with the mysterious gospel of St. Barnabas.

I vote for "Gospel of St. Barnabas" (The true Gospel) -

The drug has a funnily make-you-believe-it's-real name, I'm with John Cuthber, FAKE

five worlds You used 2+2=5 at least in two other places. Are you really in 1984? How can we answer the question while we do not now what is the question? Anyone please tell me, are we to find what shape fills the "?" box?

The Official "Introduce Yourself" Thread
Hendrick Laursen replied to Radical Edward's topic in The Lounge
Hi, Maybe it'd have been wiser to start my very first post here, but it's not still that late. I have to say that I was born with a passion for mathematics, though I don't pursue it now. A very big fan of reading, and have covered most classics of both English and Foreign Literature. Sometimes, I write poetry, too, and my very first book is to come out in November. I'm rather slim, thinner than most guys of my age. But love hiking and mountain climbing. No need to brag, but you'll find me in most of the forums I guess. I was stunned by the attitude of some users on the first day of my registration. Well, it's not my first "forum" and one could just google "Hendrick Laursen" to find out more about me. Also, Welcome all other newcomers, feel like home here! Bye -
Electrons smaller than protons, but have equivalent charge
Hendrick Laursen replied to Buych778's topic in Applied Chemistry
Hi Dekan, Of course you claim, but no proof. What do we know about the exact size of protons and electrons? Even quarks? Do they indeed have the so-called exact size? Is it even right to address 'em bigger or lesser? Points, waves or tiny bunches of energy? -
Congrats! What a cutie! Though being father is a great joy, I still have at least 10 years to be a father, Be a good father, We won't envy you! Zillions of Regards

Ferguson conflict - What is the problem, and how to solve it?
Hendrick Laursen replied to CaptainPanic's topic in Politics
Hi, I believe in the Ferguson case, even if the intention wasn't discrimination on Blacks, it is considered Racism by the fellow citizens of the dead guy, though. Let's not forget one of the very first sentences of The Declaration of Independence of the United States of America, 1776: -
Electrons smaller than protons, but have equivalent charge
Hendrick Laursen replied to Buych778's topic in Applied Chemistry
Hi Well, in your OP you claim that 'electron' is lighter than 'proton'. Right, but it doesn't make your topic sentence correct. No one can claim electrons are smaller than protons. -
Does truth have a frequency? You could ban me if I'm violating your laws. Anyway, although my first answer is correct, as it's not accepted by IUPAC laws(I read the Wiki page), I recant it. Pardon me. And as for the case of HyperV, sorry, no intention to abuse/disrespect by writing "citation needed". just wanted to know a little more, which I solemnly believe I reached my intention. Have fun!
-
Behave yourself please. The aim of forums isn't arguing just for the sake of arguing. We have to make the most of our time here to reach to a vaster area of knowledge and wisdom. Asking for a citation isn't against the state law, is it?
