  1. I think if you are applying for President you "should" take a relatively (whether conservative or liberal) and defendably moderate position, make it clear what it is and where you are flexible; and preach that as best you can to everyone, the full spectrum including those who are unlikely or surely not to vote for you, and explain why your chosen policies and positions are important to their lives and the lives of others. Will it work? I'm not sure it won't. I do think a candidate like that could win against the likely candidate on either side...but they would have to be an extraordinary candidate to even get off the ground in their own party (especially the current Democrats). But you have 300 plus million people, over half of which are eligible to run...so it is more than possible...(though and last time you guys came up with Clinton and Trump...) So there is hope...but more concern
  2. Touche! You obviously have the gift of the gabbard...
  3. Couldn't help myself...might not get to use "all warren out!"
  4. ...and another one betos the dust!
  5. That in no way makes al-Baghdadi less of a coward. ...and in my dictionary "dangerous" and "unpleasant" can be found under "Trump".
  6. To me, he's a coward. He took his own life as immediately and painlessly as he felt possible in order to avoid what he considered a very unpleasant future, and took the lives of 3 children with him. I don't know what else to call it but you are welcome to your definition.
  7. Awesome!
  8. Allow me to translate: Service Dog good. Al-Baghdadi bad.
  9. It's always the 90% of SJW's that give the rest a bad name...
  10. Yeah. Always someone ready to step up...probably the angriest one
  11. I was trying to leave no doubt...and making fun of the fact that Trump bypassed the protocol of informing Pelosi prior to the raid...claiming security reasons.
  12. I heard they considered having a body double golf...but Trump said no...didn't want to take the risk...Pelosi might suspect something was up...so he took one for the Team...went out on that course...and golfed like he never had before! (except exactly as before...knowing Democrats were watching)
  13. Feigning business as usual...didn't want to add any undue risk for those in the raid...and yet some Democrats will act like he didn't have a key role!
  14. It depends on what you mean by "it's orbit". It would have to be awfully big to send it into the Sun or slingshot it into escape velocity mode.
  15. Congratulations Studiot...on your 11111th post!
  16. Not sure, but I've been told on occasion I have some on my shoulder. I just get laughed at when I try to find out what it is.
  17. ...only in the short run
  18. Moontanman...come on...we all know you did it...just tell us what it was!
  19. Close on many counts...they were ordered from Canada...full of poutine... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poutine
  20. "Golf Cart One"
  21. ...more to come...
  22. I think FatherTed straightened us out in that one:
  23. The motion of the centre of mass, of the m1/m2 system, cannot change in the x direction.
  24. Is the rod still on/in a pivoting slider?
  25. Which one? The original one you claimed would continue to rotate, but would not, or the one with mass at m2 as well as m2 that would allow for rotation and oscillation at constant KE (assuming no friction or dissipative forces) with no extra energy to spare in doing so?
