Fair enough, the footage can be scrutinized checked to see if there is any sign of hoax or whatever. If it all ties together it could become in that genuinely unknown category. The uploaded video is just the start. This is what I have noted on the Darryl Sloan videos he seems to take all criticism seriously and tries to eliminate any possible causes. Maybe he has now found the truth and given up with TK, for most of the videos are 5 years plus, yet he hasn't taken the old videos off his channel yet so I presume he has never debunked the idea entirely. I can't see how his investigation would be any better if it was written up in a paper.

I thought it was two photons heading in opposite directions of the right energy level that made an electron and positron, not just the one you speak of.

I used to think this was the case due to certain experiences which for the life of me I could not imagine how they were in my own brain.

My theory uses the power of billions of millipedes. I win if that is the criteria.

No I totally disagree with that. Take that Darryl Sloan and his attempts to prove TK. He is sick of the negative comments. The mass of the object that is being moved would be of no use in a real life situation. TK as it is being demonstrated does not seem to have any practical uses as far as I can see. No one is doing the things you describe.

That is one of the areas for discussion. If after millions of years of selecting for the "religious" genes are you suggesting evolution will now take us back the other way. The topic came up in the TK thread where some feel they have the power to do TK and even premonitions, which I understand are the result of these religious genes (beliefs). I would have preferred the continual evolution along the religious path rather than going back. But you are not really saying going back either but I suspect you are in favour of replacing it with a belief in science. For to change the genetics of the whole population is an enormous task but to replace what is being believed in doesn't seem impossible. I don't disagree with that either for I consider myself both religious and scientific

so what is the speculation? Are you saying it is impossible for a human to live beyond 120 years of age?

Ajb said "To me, the general arena of the paranormal is fascinating, but not because I think that any of this is real. I think the paranormal gives us great insight into the human mind in the sense of what imagination we have and how easily our senses can trick our brain. It also shed some light on deep ingrained fears and hopes. All of which are tied to our evolution and our social constructs. " To which I replied "How does it fit in with evolution? Why would the humans with these imaginary tendencies have a selective advantage?" There are genes and memes? Discuss the evolution of religion here please.

OK I'm just running these ideas in a very general way, but an area of interest has been mushrooms. Now it is very interesting that the small amounts of psychoactive molecules can result in quite extraordinary experiences. These molecules mimic ones already in our brains, so I don't see why it would be impossible for the same or similar effect be caused by a mutation. I'll have to check up as to what was the tradeoff for colour vision. An early clue was that it was spatial recognition. I'm getting the information from It is not always easy to keep the whole conversation OT. Ajb used the concept of "evolution" first and I wanted to know what advantage would have resulted in that religious imaginary trait being common. I have no idea how TK could be evolved but considering the way some animals change colour it may be possible to make an organism that was able to alter the electrical charge on their skin and to manipulate this charge consciously so a PSI wheel is rotated simply by electromagnetism.

OK very good. I don't have any such qualifications but I was always very good at physics at school. So I think the basic concept of an heated/expanded Earth's interior could result in the cracking of the crust. Instead of heating and cooling I was trying to see if he could think in terms of interrupted periods of expansion. One particular aspect in this thread was the imbalance between the linear measurement of mid-ocean ridges and the subduction zones. Was this ever proven incorrect? How can there be more places where crust is formed compared to where it disappears?
