I just do not want a chemical reaction in my body to effect me any way that might cause certain allergies or disease? I just want to have a say if I want to eat this apple or not before gmo becomes normal, I think right now if someone offered me for free to genetically modify me I would want have that choice to do it or not. Even if means living another 100 years I always want to have a choice not by law or by force because science knows whats best for me even if it became normal to modify people. Don't get me wrong I'm all for advancements in technology and I'm open to anything that might improve all of our lifes. I read the thread organic farming here somewhere and it seems to me from reading it that we are going towards gmo being the normal. I'm worried that this gmo might be pushed on to me no matter what because I have no choice because it will be all over every supermarket even if I wanted to grow my food it will all eventually be modified.

I have a question about the apple? Why was it modified? Will those modifications to that apple effect me in any way that my body might not recognize whatever was tampered with? I want to understand if gmo is ok to eat? I see so many labels that say non-gmo when I go to the grocery store just curious?
