Blocking microwave emissions from earth to outer space and vice versa
kos replied to kos's topic in Astronomy and Cosmology
I did the math and I calculated that for a case our shield being stationary it should be pushed by engines in an opposite direction of this of the wind by the averege net force 1x10^8 N . if we assume that our shield is verry light and its area is 100 x 20 sq km of one of its walls and the average wind speed is 3 m/s ! If it is from somemetamaterial absoulutly transperant could it be absoloutly invisible and undetectable for the casual citizen ? What are the issues? -

What about the static shield gonna produce. Maybe around it there would be cloud from dudt particles. Or the particles will stick on the walls of the shield ! -

And what ifmengines are constantly updated!!? Till last ones are exhausted new ones are coming -
Ye can some material coating somethung verry larfe be a soulutly invisible unsuspiciously invisible?

Great answer I just couldnt catch the last part about the energy. Why not with iin engines so if they are better -
Finally can we read headline of newspaper from space by telescope ?

What is the blurind of casual day with normal sunny weahter? -
Can metamaterial be perfeclty transperant on both sides. When you see it from one and from the other ?
-
So yes because i dont know anything about it. Tell me about evry force and its consequence over the cone or pyramide. Let pyramid be thin not thick
-
I dont know what will happen with the pyramid Winds , pressure , some other fluid mechanical forces
-
If we build cone or a pyramid with thick transperant sides from graphene for instance. And the cone has h = 10 km. And r = 50 km .and we put the cone over some big region . Does the earth atmosphere with its net momentum over sides of the cone give a push down our hipothetical cone or pyramid ?

Thought experiment. Let's suppose This is for example China no matter. So where is the problem to pack itself some of theese three ways. In the last one shield is managed by some veichules in the space. Shield is from carbon nanutubes. It's light -

On the contrary I think it s gonna be impossible ! -

Let's imagine that constructing the telescope for our needs is done. My question is about atmospherical seeing since it has nothing to do with the size of the lenses or with the technology involved. Despite best attemps I suppose that there would be no way dealing with random motion of gases around the earth wich can make dispersion ,reflection , difraction and depolarization of light rays in uncountable limit because it is all random. So for a remote astraunats somewhere in deep space on their remote planet looking to earth even with telescope with the size of milky way or even bigger there will be no way to unblur the taken picture from the atmospherical seeing. Any attemp to catch clear photo would be detronized by the random motion of great content of gase ! If I'm wrong disprove me ! -

Why metalic carbon nanotubes or greaphen is said to block perfeclty microwaves -

My topic has started from the idea untill I read about alien astarunats watching earth 65 millions yeats away seeing dinosaurs . Everyone told that it is absolutly possible to see them and birds and nature theese times. But I said to myself wait a minute do they know something about bluring adaptive optics and the greatest challenge of atmosphere as a best constrain over the wish of aliens to spot young earth What is the ultimate thing reasonably small ,smallest actually that today technology in a nice weather can see CLEARY from space? -
Once upon a time there was exaclty the same question in some other forum but the answers werent strongly supporting either both sides ? What about bluring. Atmospherical seeing may be the hugest problem in the area. What about gravity. Problems may be with staying over particular point as earth rotates ? I dont know. Leave all to you ?

Finally can we be unclosed in some box around the earth with suspisious of noone . Is there a way to make this kind of cage around the globe without anyone ever notice it? What are constrains here. Gravity, turbulence, tidel forces due to earth movement . .. ? -

http://gizmodo.com/quantum-weeping-angel-effect-freezes-atoms-in-place-1730914717 As I read the article and I suddenly imagined something verry romantic and in some unclear sense reasonable. Does it mean this quantum zeno effect that When we watch over the night sky and see the stars we affect them someway even imenssevly undetectable and enourmosly unimportant ? May be the very few unique photons from their starlight reaching only very your eyes and nobody else ,or my eyes and nobody else as there are enought photons and directions of rays for any individual eyes may be for all over the world people, can affect in a very unique quantum way part of the starlife. And we give in a unique way our contribution to the universe. What do you think about it

We all know what would be the effect if we block emission of infrared radiation from earth. Actually we call this global warming . But let imagine a hypothetical situation that because of some strange reason someday someone decide to build a shield and wrap up entire earth in some more distant orbit even than that of the moon. The cage around the earth would be from some exotic material allowing the passage of all other electromagnetic spectrum except for microwave region. So in this scenario what would be the consequence for our planet and life eventually ?

If I saw the pawn and the particles of pawn are entangled When I see it in a particular place thats mean that I do some measurment does the Two pawns become unentangled when I watch over one of them!
-
In the sense of pawns if they are fully entangled by their particles and if I look the one do I destroy entanglement
-
Is my lookung enought to dis terb the entanglement?
