  1. Hi, I have a somewhat stupid question. Can sodium fluoride (as used by dentosts) react with carbonic acid (carbonated water) to form hydrogen fluoride? If so how? Like when the dentist puts that fluoride compound on your teeth and then you go home and drink carbonated water. World that work.
