how could the big bang form a flat universe? -so your saying that every galaxy in the universe is on the 'edge' of the universe? If so, why is there no matter in the middle of the 'christmas ball'? if the universe is expanding, that means there would have to be matter in the middle of the 'christmas ball' or else that means that when it expands it also decreases because the center contains nothing... please explain how this is possible if this post is to confusing, tell me, and ill rephrase it.

you said the big bang exploded in 'space itself'. please explain

-getting back to the original question- a new theory called 'intelligent design' would have an easy answer to this, which would be: an intelligence made the particles move together, because it has a certain purpose in the universe (kind of like 'divine-plan' theory) -anyways, i suppose its just randomness. There are probably trillions of chances that particles could move togetehr and stick, and eventually form a planet, but only a few actually do so.

its human nature to want power. Obviously, we can get power by controlling things that are much less superior than we are. But thats just human nature. What makes you think aliens would have the same insticts as we do? P.S. humans in general are hostile. you were generalizing by saying that "humans" are hostile. -think about charities, orphanges and hospitals, ect.

i agree with syntax. If the big bang theory is true, then wouldnt the explosion be sypherical? how could it explode into a flat area? how flat are we talkin about?

If the reverse-big-bang theory is 'wrong' then this universe MIGHT be in deep trouble. The reason being: if the universe kept expanding, then eventually the stars that populate the universe will decrease (because 1 star dying doesnt mean 1 star being born) and eventually most of the stars will burn out and the universe will be nothing but an huge, cold, peice of nothingness. No species would ever be able to survive. does any1 have a response to this theory???

this might not be the first language known to 'humans'. But, no matter what creature you look at, all of them have a language they speak (usually non-verbal). -Insects are probably, and most-likely, the longest-living species on this planet. Each speaks in its own way. example: a bee 'dances' in its hive to tell other bees about intruders, food or it could carry a message from the queen. so, if you think about it, i guess this could be the first language ever used...

i just found out about this theory, and i find it very interesting. Does anyone have any information about it? eventually the universe will stop expanding and rapidly decrease in size, and eventually a 'reverse-big-bang' will happen?
