yes, concidering how receptive childeren are to 'act --> reward' behavioral enforsment, i would imagin that this would be quite common. so would this mean that they would be coersed, or are the kids just being hookers? or would they have seperate laws about not swaping sex for rewards for childeren as they do for adults. remember what i said about japan recently having to bring in rules to cut down on the number of buisnissmen giving schoolgirls 'gifts' in return for sex.

actually, i was thinking of what my piersist told me, about how surprisingly common it is for people to come in with childeren so young they have to be carried, and ask for their nipples to be piersed. and even a few clittoral/penal piersings requested for the baby... and upon being told that both nipple and penal peirsings are dangerouse if the done before the body has finished maturing, the parents generally walk off with an 'ill find someone else to do it then' attitude

compare: some people can drop acid on a regular basis and suffer no ill effects, but for most people taking acid runs a seriouse risk of causing psycological damage. also, people have demonstrated, time and time again, an inability to correctly assess the risks and accurately determine wether it would be safe for them to take acid or not. thus, acid is illegal; the rite of the few to enjoy a drug which would do them no harm is sacraficed for the good of the majority, for whom 1/acid would be damaging, and 2/would not be in a position whereby they could correctly* make the desision as to wether or not to take acid. there are many such analogies - whilst a few childeren could have sex without it being a bad thing, many could not, and also could not notice this. the responsibility for correctly making the decision would fall upon the adult, which is much akin to letting the drug dealer decide wether someone is psycologically 'ready' to take acid, ie some will do whats rite, and forgo profit/sex if its in the best interests of the customer/child, but most will not. ------------------------------------------------------------------- * ie, with a high probability of correctly determining wether or not the acid would psycologically harm them

for the good of all childeren, the few cases where concential, non-damaging sex is possible are sacraficed. as i said before, most childeren cannot make the choice correctly, and most adults who engage with sex-with-childeren are disinclined to forgo sex merely because it is damaging to the child - hence, in most cases, it is bad. anyway, its arguable that this 'budding' is a prosess that should come in its own natural time, and not be rushed by an adult.

add english to that list... i still cant stop thinking that canadians live in canadia. seriously, some adults get there baby childeren piersed or tattoed, or dangle them over balconies; when there are people who are this irresponsible with theur babies, should we really even consider giving them the ability to desighn them? and what about munchousens by proxy? if people are capable of poisoning their kids to get attention, then i dont think that an attention-grabbing desighner baby with a double-size flashing neon head is out of the question. some of the things people do to their kids for their own benifit are disgusting enough allready, i dont think we should let people tinker about at the genetic level.

yes, and my consern is that, whilst adults can be quite resillient to coersion, childeren oftern cannot, and also are not always in the best position to make informed desisions about what is good for them - hence, a child who is not ready to have sex could quite easaly make the mistake of having sex, and so should be protected. harsh.

how about: if you were a parent, how would you feel if your 11 year old son told you that hed been having sex with a 34 year old man, and that hed desided that he didnt want to any more and was upset that hed done it atall, and he only did it in the first plase because he the man said it was a good thing to do etc - would you not be annoyed that the man had taken advantage of your son?

well basically some kids mature faster than others. i matured very early, hence why i think it would have been ok had my female teacher had sex with me when i was 11. other kids mature much slower. and remember, reguardless of what your first lover was like, there are many ass-holes who dont care what effect they have on the person that they sleep with. if everyone was going to be careful, and ensure that the person that they were sleeping with was going to be ok (and if not, not sleep with them), then we would have no need for the age of consent and im sure a few men would openly sleep with a few boys, and it would be acepted. but as i said, there are many ass-holes in this world

i do. if, when i was 11, my female maths teacher (mmmm) had asked if i wanted to have sex with her, i'd had been extatic, and said yes. and, to this day, i wouldnt have regretted it. now, imagine if when i was 11 one of my male teachers asked if i wanted sex with him. id have probably said yes out of curiosity, but i believe i would have regretted it afterwards. as an adult i am sure of my attitude towards sex, and am able to tolerate any mistakes that i make. as a kid, i was much less sure about the whole sex thing, and thus more likely to make a mistake - also, any mistake that i made would have been harder for me to deal with, what with not fully understanding the whole sex thing. that is why we protekt kids by dissalowing adults to sleep with them.

in england, the laws of sexual concent were broat in during victorian times, as many men were praying on young women. sure, i bet a few of these girls enjoyed it and didnt suffer any seriouse repercussions from it, but the majority were taken advantage of and did suffer as a result of it, hence the laws. you had sex with a man when you were 11 and you dont regret it - fair enough. to be honest, i know that i wouldnt have regretted it if id had sex with an adult when i was 11. but most childeren do not sexually mature this fast, and in the majority of cases of adult/child 'love', the adult is taking advantage of the child. in japan, they have only very recently broat in anything even resembling a legal age of concent, vis there is now a minimum age a woman must be before she can have sex in return for gifts. this is because buisnismen were renting schoolgirls. this is from a contry which has, traditionally, not had an age of concent. they rationally thought about it and decided that the adults were, in the majority of cases, taking advantage of the child, and that this was detrimental to the child.

i had to do this reasently, and i think i may have done it a long winded way. basically, i had a list of the products of a quadratic exuasion for variouse numbers. what i did, was i terated two of them like a simultaniose equasion, ie 16a+4b+c=20 4a+2b+c=15 then jiggery-pokeried them untill there was only one equasion (times bottom by two; subtract bottom from top) 8a-c=-10 then i did the same with two different quads, to get another xa + yc = z term. then i treated both the terms as simultaniouse equasions, so that i could work out a term, and then substituted them back into the equsions to work out the other terms. it took ages. is there a quicker (simple) way to do this? bare in mind its been quite a while since iv done advanced maths, so if your replys go along the lines of 'capsised M, funny s 7 arrow 2 wibbly line (3 * (square root of a ternip)) times ((wibbley line) arrow with the word 'series o --> drunk 8' on it [pie (mmm, pie) times by the number of letters in the current day]) divided by [greekletterchi]9, then im not likely to know what your talking about.

the sex drive is the most powerful drive a human can experience, i believe. imagine how hard you would find it if someone could convince you that having sex with fully grown men/women was immoral, and so you had to ignore your sexual desires. i think we should lower a convicted paedophiles sex drive, using drugs or removal of the testicles, so that they have more chance of ignoring their sex drive. and maybe promote the idea that being sexually attrakted to kids is ok, but actually having sex with them is not. that way, a paedophile could come forward for help before he has commited a crime. whereas now, paedophilic tendancys would be treated the same as actually having commited the crime by most. if we could promote the attitude "oh, your attracted to kids - harsh. that must suck for you. well, good man to risist your urges" then maybe more people would get help and thus less people would offend.

im well with you, callapogouse, on the 'school should not encroach on your private life' stance. when i was at school, i hated the fact that they had regulations on what kind of hair cuts we could have. school uniform, fair enough, that can be taken off when you get home - but by dictating my hair cut, they were dictating how my hair should be both in and out of school, which i thought suked. but homework is, unfortunately, nessesary. to effefctively teach most. if your smart enough to not need to do homework, then you should be smart enough to figure how to avoid getting into trouble for not doing your homework - so even if, say, your bio homework doesnt teach you any biology, it will still teach you useful skills, ie lying, on-the-spot excuse generation, forgery, analysis and circumvention of systems all skils which i learnt in school, and have served me well.

having said that, of all the drugs that i have observed cause problems, cannabis is aruably the one with the least associated problems, if you ignore lung-cancer (which inhaled THC and/or cannibinols(CBNs) and cannibinoids (CBDs) would) i still think that any psycological disorders shout be treated wuthout resorting to drugs if possible. i think the govorments mantra of "drugs are bad - say NO to drugs" is most correct when applied to clinical psycaiatrists/psycologists
