Wouldnt a really simple way of 'fixing' it without the risk of deleting partitions/editing the complicated part of the boot.ini be to simply change the bit of the boot.ini that says "timeout=30" to "timeout=1"? Thatway, the screen would flash up and disapear and load the first partition, thus solving the problem (ok, its a dirty fix, but its safer than tinkering around in these areas if he's not entirely sure what he's doing.) having said that, I'm not entirely comftorbal with the boot.ini, so I'd like to make it clear (to ps2huang) that im not reccomending to actually do my above 'fix'; if you want to do it, wait till someone else more knowledgeble than me has commented on it. and make a boot-disk first, whatever you do. People can only be as equal as they actually are; if two men genuinely cant do as good a job as a man and a woman, then they are (by nature) not equal in their ability to raise a child, and so theres no need for the law to allow them to adopt in order to bestow equality upon them.

i think your confusing cause and effect. those people dont dislike gays because the parade annoys them; they get annoyed with the gay pride parade because they dislike gays (and espescially the fact that theyre allowed to be publicly gay en-mass). either that, or their worried that if gays are allowed to parade, then any children that the parade comes across might be kidnapped by the big-bad-pooftas and forsed into watching big brother and the saloon untill they become queer too. they may word it differently, but thats what it generally boils down to.

Unfortunately, this isnt the complete myth that you'd think it is. There are loads of applications that claim to be anti-[acr=spyware, adware, diallers etc; malware that is not a virus, worm or trojan]slyware[/acr] programs, but which actually install slyware onto your computer in order to then 'find' it and offer to remove it if you pay $x for the full version. a comprehensive list of know crappy anti-slyware applications is here. The more famouse anti-slywares -- ad-aware, spybot, ms antispyware, spysweeper, counter spy, spyware doctor, pestpatrol etc etc -- don't install slyware.
