Okay, I know there are other posts on Time Travel, but they seem burned out so, this is my own personal question anyway. Am I to understand that Time Travel to the Future has been proven Fact? I was watching phycisist Brian Greene (I think that was his name) saying that Time travel to the Future has been proven by taking 2 identically set clocks, put one on a Pan Am Jet, and when it came back they no longer said the same time. The difference was extremely minimal, like Billionths of a second. But he also says that if we travel at almost light speed away from the earth for 6 months, and come back at the same speed for another 6 months that we would have only aged a year, while everyone else on earth may have aged decades. Can someone give me a simple equation to soak in to try and understand this better? I mean I would think I have been gone for 1 year, and there would be no difference here on earth.

I can only tell you that it must be perfectly alligned. I tried an experiment for fun where I took a circle of magnets on an axle and held a single one up to it with reverse polarity and spun the axle to see if it would keep on spinning. It always ended up stopping because I could never get the circle of magnets perfectly alligned. I did it to try and prove to a friend that on a larger scale it could be used in cars if your gas peddle was the single magnet and the axle was reversed polarity. Well a fun thought, but not enough $$ to actually get the materials I would need to build a large scale.

She has now completely recovered and written her own book. She states that she was completely aware the whole time, but she was just unable to speak or move to let anyone know. I take back the "we" word for you Cadmus. I was referring to the fact that Congress stepped in and they are voting for "us" which is "we". So yes, "we" decided in favor of life for her. However the Fed Judge didn't.

Just posting my opinion here. Regardless of the decision, it is truly inhumane to let her die via starvation. Second, I understand that the doctors have said she is a permanent vegetable, but they have been seriously wrong before. Third, her husband should have been allowed to divorce her and let her family take on the burden since they are the ones fighting for her. We are trying to make a decision for her because she can't. It's bound to bring contraversy. I don't believe I would like to live like that, but I also wouldn't want to die of starvation. But Because she did not have a Living Will though, then we must assume that she would naturally choose to live.
