It seems to have the ability to re balance itself. If it's center of mass is close to the ground, then it should be able to. I'm not sure though.

Are there, or are there not, sentient animals.

True. But does that nullify my point that our brains are more capable then dogs? -

What the max limit to perfect logic is and what the average amount of logic is varies. Unless you're about to argue with me that dogs have more logic then humans, I'm going to go ahead and say humans have moderate logical ability. -

The same as the other humans. -
What do you consider a happy/good relationship?

Sigh. Very simply, all I did was restate my original question. Ageist. If you're gonna stick it out with me, stick it out. -
What do you consider a happy/good relationship?
Raider5678 replied to Raider5678's topic in General Philosophy
Seems like a repulsive relationship. I've only been in 2, one for 3 days before I realized that was a bad idea. You can realize it might not be a good idea if the first thing is start listing things they expect out of you. So in your words, it's about caring for the other person a lot? Not attempting to make your argument here, just curious. No, I was making a point. In my opening post, I specifically asked for what you thought was the perfect relationship, not the dump off answer "Everyone's different." And I pointed that out to you. Completely fair. This is true. What is your idea of a happy relationship? Examples can be anything. Maybe you want to cuddle with your partner a lot, talk a lot, or exercise a lot. It doesn't really matter. What would you consider a happy relationship?- 17 replies

Hyper Sonic Pulsed Detonation {Scram+Rocket} engine Plans
Raider5678 replied to Ben88012's topic in Amateur Science
Proof of concept designs aren't how it works, it's mathematics and prototypes. First, what is the fuel mixture you are using? Give the chemical formula, as we can calculate how much energy will be released when burning it. This will give us an idea of how much thrust will be produced by your engine. -

Okay. And what are the details? You can choose to omit the sexual details if you want to. I don't particularly care about those. I want to know about your general relationship and why you think it's good. -

The image shows up about 2 and a half inches on my full sized computer screen. We can't see anything other the the 4 main lines. -
I just knew what the experts were going to ask. They always ask to see what you've done so far, so I figured I'd let you know. I don't actually know how to solve. I'll PM hyper and see if she can help you.

What do you consider a happy/good relationship?
Raider5678 replied to Raider5678's topic in General Philosophy
Dude. The question was not "what is a perfect relationship" Its "What do YOU consider a happy/good relationship?" As in your opinion. Yours. Not the real answer. There is no real answer. I want your preference. Seriously. It's philosophy. So much as one more person says it depends on the person and I'll just refer you to a grammar site. -
Question is very simply put in the title. What do you consider a happy/good relationship? And/or marriage?

Hyper Sonic Pulsed Detonation {Scram+Rocket} engine Plans
Raider5678 replied to Ben88012's topic in Amateur Science
Holy shit that's some very exciting plans. Looks like the work of a ..................................... very artistic 5 year old. If you're gonna do this, you need more then that. If you would like help with physics, design, science, engineering, or anything else, you may ask. But if we say what you're asking for is impossible, it's simply impossible. So be willing to redesign.- 11 replies

Us guys aren't stupid. We realize that's just as sexist as saying men are smarter. But for the most part we could care less, and if the girls need the extra motivation in today's world then they should have it. I don't care. -

Considering I've been arguing most of the time from the other side, and have been accused of being sexist and a knee jerk feminist in this argument, It's obvious nobody supports having a middle stance. Either it's the worst crisis in history and it's dooms day or it's nothing at all and everyone else are crybabies. I still say the statistics say it's a middle. It's getting better, but it's not done yet. Why can nobody approve of that? -

Yes, I agree. In my school the teachers constantly remind the boys that the girls are almost always smarter. -

Hence, sexism. Your claim wasn't that men think differently, it's that they think better. -
I think the aim of those taxes are to make money, not put it out of business. I might be wrong though.

Okay. So how about trying the other method I mentioned? Like raising taxes on them. Even if we reduce it so the only people who smoke are those willing to do it illegally, that's still a reduction. I also think it would help make it so kids are raised in a better environment. I knew a young kid who had lung problems because his parents always smoked in the house. And they still did and his lungs just kept deteriorating. It was sad to watch.
-
What would happen if a law was suddenly passed making smoking illegal? And should we try to start putting legal pressure against smoking?(I.E. rapidly increasing taxes and regulations on them until they can't afford to buy them nor make them)
