  1. Here is another video of Prof. Moriarty if you are interested.. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=NO3iDNBUuSA I am curious about your opinions..
  2. Yes. He says when two forces (attracting and repelling) get into balance the contact happens between objects..
  3. He says something different than majority says.. He explains how contact actually happens between two objects..
  4. I think what Moriarty says about touching is pretty logical..have any ideas?
  5. Can we consider a theory to be true if the mathematical theorem supporting it is proved?
  6. Do you agree with Moriarty's explanation? https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=P0TNJrTlbBQ
  7. So you mean the large quantity of particles can contact with the other object's large quantity of particles?
  8. During the interaction of the wavefunction does the touching process (as called in the macro level) occur? Or can we say the contact between two objects occur when 2 forces are in balance?
  9. Can anyone tell me what the professor exactly say in the video I posted?
  10. Then why it is said that we can not touch anything? Is it about the quantum level, like nuclei of atoms never touch but lets say electron clouds contact eachother? Confused..
  11. Then is there a classical touching in the macro level?
  12. When the wave function of atoms overlap does the touching process occur?
  13. Thank you 😄 If what the person in the video (Prof. Moriarty) says is correct then why there are so many people saying that we can not really touch objects? I wonder why..
  14. Oh, I am so sorry.. You had asked a question about me studying this at which level. I don't study it. I am just a curious person.. And I posted this video since the guy tells there exist a contact between objects indeed..
  15. Here is a discussion about the topic.
  16. I agree. And what happens during interaction specifically?
  17. How did you find out?
  18. I asked the question on quora to people who have physics background and most of them said atoms don't touch each other. Also when you google this topic lots of writings appear about this subject claiming that we can't actually touch objects..
  19. You are like a teacher who asks tough questions😂 I ask a question and you ask about the question 😄
  20. Touching in macro level is not the same with touching in micro level.. Is it true?
  21. So do you say atoms touch eachother? Some say they do some say they don't..
  22. When two atoms touch each other the wave functions of each atom penetrate each other so atoms do touch each other.. Is this true?
  23. Atoms do not touch eachother and electrons repel each other therefore what we feel when we touch something is the feeling of repulsion between electrons.. Do you agree with it?
  24. Those of you who have examined the theory, do you think Hoffman uses scientific method for his theory?
  25. Did he use any quantum physics in his theory?
