  1. I know, I'm just arguing for the sake of arguing. I do favor the birds over the mice though.
  2. What, it's not as if I swallowed the entire tube of toothpaste *suspicious glances*
  3. The shamwow was invented in Germany.
  4. "All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing" ~Edmund Burke Same policy applies.
  5. If the germans make it, it's gotta be good!
  6. Nature is savage, but human's aren't supposed to be. Why would a cameraman sit by and let that happen. There isn't a plausible expirement that I could think of that would require mice to slaughter baby birds.
  7. No, if you eat more toothpaste than recommended, it causes gastrointestinal problems. It even says it on the label. It might just be me, or maybe the brand, but I know if I swallow too much toothpaste, I'll be sitting on the head all night.
  8. If you eat a big meal and then brush your teeth, dont swallow the toothpaste. Even without a big meal, last time I swallowed some toothpaste I nearly died from dehydration (I puked and had a severe bout of diarrhea).
  9. At least we don't bleed people to cure them anymore. Or drill holes in the head to let the evil spirits escape.
  10. That's kinda sick.
  11. The cost is higher for no reason other than inflation and higher salaries for doctors. Doctors get a higher salary because there are less of them. There are less doctors because it the school needed is expensive and because it is a hard job. The government is trying to keep the country from becoming too socialist. That's why they don't give more money to healthcare.
  12. There's moderator uniforms! *faints*
  13. I need the stock market to get back to about 10,000 so I can sell my portfolio.
  14. I wouldn't think so, none of the contents of fog would affect nonsensitive skin. Ozone, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, and the other chemicals in smog all affect the lungs. The only way you would get enough chemicals in your ears to do damage is if you were skydiving and you land in a smoggy area. I don't think it would do damage though.
  15. Here's a couple of sites that might help: http://micro.magnet.fsu.edu/primer/techniques/fluorescence/gallery/cells/3t3/3t3cells.html http://www.olympusfluoview.com/gallery/cells/3t3/3t3cells.html http://www.abcam.com/NIH-3T3-Mouse-embryonic-fibroblast-cell-line-Whole-Cell-Lysate-ab7179.html
  16. Sure, if rats are eating insects and spiders they won't need to develope their teeth much. If they are hunting other rats or bird, though, they would need to evolve strong molars. Pretty much rats would evolve to look something like a small version of a beaver, without the tail and, ya know, the herbivorous tendencies.
  17. The pope is furthering the spread of an epidemic. Isn't that against the Ten Commandments, or the Geneva Convention, or something?
  18. With a rodent's already strong jaws, all they would have to do is develop strong molars.
  19. Sounds safe to me. It's also biodegradable:-)
  20. I know, but he has enough influence to sway many people into his beliefs. If he says that condoms don't work, then people who don't have the technology to prove him wrong will believe him. Anyway you put it, there's a chance that he'll bring up the arguement that he's an emissary of God, so if we are saying he is wrong, we are saying god is wrong. This wouldn't help anyone in the fight against AIDS; not him, not us, and not the people he has persuaded. Nothing we can do now, because, for most cases until recently, religion beats science in developing world's.
  21. You mean this stuff? Composition for synthetic cervical mucus formulation Document Type and Number:United States Patent 6953775 Abstract:The present invention is a composition for a synthetic mucus formulation with viscosity, spinnbarkeit, and pH comparable to that reported for human cervical mucus. On another site it said this too A synthetic formulation has been developed with viscosity, spinnbarkeit, and pH comparable to that reported for human cervical mucus. The formulation contains guar gum crosslinked with borate ion, mucin (dried porcine gastric), and a mixed preservative system in pH 7.4, 0.1M phosphate buffer. The guar gum source, mucin concentration, and method of preparation were shown to be critical factors in the performance of the formulation. If you do, it's not available yet.
  22. I agree with the nothing in the world being 100%, but the Pope wouldn't (I think) allow an arguement for God not being all mighty and all knowing.
  23. darn, well maybe next time
  24. I'm not sure, but it sounds like if that happens, the babies blood turns to sludge.
