  1. There are things happening here in PL as well. A big cinema hit movie called "Kler" (I encourage everyone to watch it, there are English subtitles available) came out last year stirring up the pot. In the last months there is a lot movement towards putting priest crimes to justice, we still have a long way towards where Australia is with sentencing priest offenders to jail time but things are moving in the right direction.
  2. So if a group of soldiers walking through enemy territory make a noise, their position might be compromised. Is selling compromising intel of offenders not a completely different meaning of the phrase "to compromise" from the soldier example? Also, why am I having a lot more of that tough, horny skin on my heels lately?
  3. +1 but it still makes me want to fly over for a few Guinesses to slap that nonsense out of you
  4. There is an infinite amount of colors within any given spectrum or its part regardless whether the spectrum is finite or not. Like taeto said, perception of colors is something that differs between species, individual conditioning and technologies.
  5. There is a limit of the amount of shades of a color you can distinguish between. It varies quite heavilly between individuals, circumstances and technologies but its certainly not true that you can divide the visible spectrum indefinitely and distinguish between the resulting colors. Though there is an infinite amount of colors located within the visible spectrum just like there is an infinite amount of numbers within the limit between the number 1 and number 2. It doesn’t matter if you’re seeing the colors in real life or you hallucinate, color perception happens in the brain anyway in any case.
  6. Oh yes, he’s my pride and joy. He taught the inlaws cat how to scratch a cat scratch thingy yesterday. Nobody could teach the damn cat that for months, my son is definitely MiT material.
  7. My 3 year old is capable of screaming with his eyes wide open dripping with tears while drooling and dripping snot and jumping up & down and hitting a kitchen strainer on the wall - all at the same time, multitasking at its finest.
  8. You do realize that science depends on proof right?
  9. I got rid of FB last week, surprising how the world is different without wasting time. Kept messenger as its difficult not to have it.
  10. I had it exactly the same, watched first 2 episodes on Netflix then fell asleep on the third one and gave up.
  11.  It is International Womens Day today and I'd like to take this oportunity to give my dearest wishes to TenOz and Rangerx.

  12. Wow, I watched the first episode of „The Orville” and got hooked not the Expanse of which I watched a couple episodes a year ago and concluded they were slow. Seems I might have been sleeping already yesterdayafter all.
  13. I’ve managed not to fall asleep and watched the first episode, Im hooked.
  14. Do they have it in 4K on Amazon Prime? Asking because this series somehow eluded me and since I got me a new turbo 4K HDR10+ & Dolby Vision TV set I feel it is imperative I watch only 4K from now on
  15. Theres no picture on cigarette containers in Ukraine, you must be Ukrainian.
  16. I have some „unsold customers” as you portray them in my close family and I do think they’re idiots. Not because they’re risking their own health and lives but because they are risking health and lives of children who cannot decide for themselves and are completely helpless. I guess you could call them unfit parents or potential child murderers or complete, utter morons too.
  17. I kind of trolled you unintentionally, you have my deepest sympathy
  18. You also need to note that there is a group of people on forums who hold a much more prestigious title than the ones who are mods - the ones who were asked to moderate and refused
  19. I’ll give you an honest answer since you deseve one because you’ve been opening so many threads with so many questions; Firstly, your knowledge needs to exceed the knowledge of majority of the posters, you need to be able to give fruitful, coherent answers to the questions people ask, difficult questions. Secondly, you need to be patient and never give in to emotion, you always need to keep your cool. Thirdly, you need to be able to dedicate a lot of your time, months and years. Also a degree related to the section you moderate would be welcome. And knowledge...deep knowledge on the subject you moderate. Which section which you would like to moderate do you have in mind?
  20. Trolling in most cases is annoying and useless but there are cases when trolling can be turned into something useful and be an art used for the greater good. Like trolling a troll for example.
  21. Middle class teens and early 20’s kids are going crazy about 60’s music and lifestyle nowdays so you can feel even younger
  22. Gee, I was convinced you were my age, you are young by heart Sir.
  23. Just remember to drink lots of water right after the appointment while the anesthesia is still working.
  24. If youre refering to the Universe as the „4D system” then yes, as far as we know entropy always grows on cosmic scales.
