I think most universities don't have small tests, they only have the big ones at the end of the year. I could be wrong. I am in Grade 9 too, but I'm in Canada and we have a different system. My exams are going to come in Mid-June, and they are school based. I do pretty good in them and I don't see a difference between my marks in the exams or the unit tests.

Lol. I remember we had a bomb scare/threat once in our school, so we didn't have to go to school for some 3 days.... I wish another one would come along someday, we get to miss so much school! That is the downside of living in Canada though, no frequent bomb threats in school

Yup, same problem here, but I don't really care. I just teach myself. After all, teaching yourself is a skill..... However, my teachers are not stupid. They are excellent, well educated people whom I hold in high regard. I challenged Science 10 (I am in Grade 9 right now), so next year I will be doing Physics 11 and Chemistry 11. Try something like that in your school.
