  1. Let's not stoop to this level of name calling. I'm a "paid Russian troll" now? Is this how you respond to everyone who has a different viewpoints than yours? I'm interested in discussing the thread, not getting into personal bickering.
  2. Incorrect. He's run as a Democrat numerous times. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernie_Sanders_2020_presidential_campaign These are my views, just like everyone else has their own.
  3. I haven't lied, acted in bad faith, nor shared debunked talking points. All spurious fabrications by you. You're uninformed about who ANTIFA really are. These violent counter-protesters are often members of the “antifa” (short for “antifascist”), a loose collection of groups, networks and individuals who believe in active, aggressive opposition to far right-wing movements. Their presence at a protest is intended to intimidate and dissuade racists, but the use of violent measures by some antifa against their adversaries can create a vicious, self-defeating cycle of attacks, counter-attacks and blame. This is why most established civil rights organizations criticize antifa tactics as dangerous and counterproductive. https://web.archive.org/web/20180401085658/https://www.adl.org/resources/backgrounders/who-are-the-antifa
  4. So the shooter has been identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks. A registered Republican and firearms enthusiast.
  5. The DNC has a track record of naming, blaming, and shaming Democrats who don't fall in line with their preferred policy positions. Take the Squad and Bernie Sanders as a perfect example. They back totally uninspiring candidates and then pour wrath on progressive democrats when they don't win.
  6. Wow, that's rude, but ok. What's your theory on how he gained access to the roof carrying an AR style rifle without being spotted by police?
  7. I don't doubt the veracity of your poll. This photo was published by the New York Times showing the layout of the crime scene. The roof from which this took place appears to be some sort of business or industrial facility. My guess is that the shooter was someone who worked at this facility and knew how to access the roof and understood the layout of the venue very well. He would have been able to evade detection by accessing the facility on a weekend when nobody was there, and then proceeding to climb the building access ladder (which is obscured from sight between another building).
  8. They are a group, fully mobilized and operational, that roams around the US and commits acts of violence at protests, what I would consider domestic terrorism. ANTIFA officially acknowledge and admit the use of violence as a political tool. So it wouldn't surprise me if the shooter was a member. In this particular poll 6.9% were for political violence in favor of Trump and 10% in favor of political violence against Trump. I full acknowledge the other poll you mentioned if you can source it, and that the right is heavily in favor of political violence also.
  9. It's speculated the shooter was a member of ANTIFA. if that's the case, you know where MAGA will place all their focus.
  10. In terms of logistics, this seems like a massive security failing by police and secret service. The guy was only 1200 feet away and multiple witnesses pointed him out to police before the actual attack. Unfortunately 10% of Americans support the use of violence against Trump, according to a recent poll. So with so many firearms available, this kind of thing is increasingly likely. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/article/2024/jul/13/trump-rally-shooting-political-violence
  11. In my view it's one of two culprits: A "lone wolf" political extremist A foreign agent acting in a plot to further destabilize the United States
  12. And more so if he loses. This is the usual elitest DNC strategy that has played out ad nauseum that everyone is sick of.
  13. That's plausible. At this stage it looks like the Dems are working to isolate the President: donors pulling out, congressional leaders refusing to endorse him and openly calling for his withdrawal, his closest allies (Nancy Pelosi, Obama, Clooney) subtly or overtly suggesting he shouldn't run. Will be interesting to see how long he continues as this isolation increases.
  14. Not in the slightest. A debate with the most overprotective rules in US history, where the opponents mic is cut, and with a measly two minute first answer and 1 minute rebuttal time. So that tells you they were desperately trying to control the playing field and keep Biden's exposure to a minimum. That debate was a far cry from Obama / Romney or even Clinton / Trump in 2016.
  15. We're both human: you're also susceptible to the same confirmation bias that Biden is completely fine. Regarding disclosure, the Biden's have zero interest in disclosing the real state of the President's health. This is the most damaging aspect of their dishonest strategy. We'll see what happens with his candidacy. If he remains the nominee, I believe we'll be all be invited to a screening of "Donny Dangerous: Part 2" in November.
  16. The biggest saboteur at this point is Biden himself. If you want to beat Trump, we need someone who can appeal to independent voters. He's still losing every single swing state, as of 3 hours ago. Is that a "winning" candidate? Don't be ludicrous. Nice mental gymnastics. Too bad you'll miss the Paris olympics this time around. The notion that Biden may have Parkinson's is in no way an "extraordinary claim", as numerous medical professionals have attested to at this point, no to mention the senior staff of his inner circle who have come forward and said he's not competent to continue.
  17. Exactly. Unfortunately the perception now amongst voters is that Biden and his administration are lying about his condition, which is only exacerbating matters for Democrats. The onus is on Biden at this point to prove he's fit for office.
  18. He gave his professional opinion based on all the symptoms Biden is demonstrating. Rigid motor control Neurological difficulty Hypophonia (low / soft speech - resulting from a lack of coordination in the vocal musculature) Masked Face (lack of facial expressions) Tremors Basically as clear cut a diagnosis as there could be.
  19. Compelling interview here with Dr. Tom Pitts, a board certified neurologist who specializes in diagnosing Parkinsons. He basically says Biden is a textbook case.
  20. Well, like I said, A) it's none of your business, and B.) it's irrelevant to the debate we're having. I presented data from 12 polls from different media outlets that show evidence that Trump is now winning, and you want to engage in ad-hom deflections instead of presenting a strong counter argument to the facts. Kind of sums up what's wrong with the Democratic party writ-large actually.
  21. The right move for him, that's for sure. Law low and let all the negative attention be on the Dems. I don't see how facts are propaganda. If anything, this idea that Biden is somehow the strongest candidate we have is the propaganda. Orwellian to say the least. Who I vote for is none of your business. I've made it clear in previous posts who I think is the stronger candidate.
  22. In 2020 Biden was +9 over Trump going into the election, and Biden barely won in 2020. Now Biden is losing to Trump in practically every poll, he's down by 3-6 points in nearly every battleground state. He needs to mount a massive comeback if he wants to beat Trump, which he can't do because of his age. The DNC will continue to keep him sequestered away behind closed doors as much as possible. Looks like we know who's going to replace Biden after all: Donald Trump. https://www.realclearpolling.com/polls/president/general/2024/trump-vs-biden It's also highly likely we'll lose the Senate and House as well. Once the DNC locks in Biden as the official candidate at the convention, Republicans are going to run ads in every congressional race with the Democratic candidate next to Biden. Biden will drag down the entire party.
  23. The donors are all jumping ship now too. Can't seen Biden continuing with empty coffers.
  24. It's over, guys. Biden is withdrawing. My prediction, anyway.
  25. Better late than never. The fact is, quite a few in the media were raising questions about Biden's mental state over a year ago, but were shouted down with the same objections we're seeing here. Those to blame are the corrupt DNC and those around Biden who sought to shield his decline from the public eye for their own personal gain. I disagree that it's too late. Trump remains deeply unpopular outside of his MAGA base. If you think Biden is really the best candidate the Dems have to offer, we've got much bigger problems. Unfortunately, "Blue MAGA" seems to have arisen in the Democratic party. A contrived attempt at "unity" won't capture independents unfortunately, which is what we need to win. People have to actually believe Biden is the best man for the job, which he clearly demonstrated that he isn't. It's questionable that he'll be able to do the job in 1-2 years, given his age.
