this is the formula we tried to use...
V= sqr root of (2*m*g/p*A*C)
p= density
c=drag coefficient
a= projected area
g= gravity
m= mass
v= terminal velocity
of anyone could maybe show a solution with step by step working maybe i can understand.
My friend and i were bored in our maths class and we wanted to figure out the terminal velocity of a frozen stick of pee 1cm in diameter and 40cm in length if it were falling from a plane 11km in the air... we are aware of how ridiculous this is but we just wanted to know so we could work out if it could kill someone and the answers we came up with were it either fell at 2cm per second or roughly 100 times the speed of light.
thanks
