  1. In some articles on Quantum Theory regarding the Double Slit experiment, I have seen statements to the effect that "diffraction is observed even when only one photon is used". So how is the diffraction pattern observed if each part of it must consist of fractions of the one photon? Also, how does one ensure that only a single photon is launched toward the double slit?
