  5. Aromaticity ..? Jesus Christ!! Since they mentioned hybridization and pain killing quality, I thought that c-part answer would be complex and somehow related to those.. Glad that the answer is very basic..
  6. 1. Alkylation ? 2. Are there any similarities among those functional groups?
  7. 1) 2 benzene. But 1 is naphthalene 2) i) Methyl methylacetate and 2-mehyl propane ii)Methoxy group and Methyl methylacetate iii) alcohol and (eth- 1-amine- 1- one ?)
  8. I already got that all are para substituted.. But the substituents and substitutes are clearly different right?
  9. Oh! Just the c part. I forgot to round it. I feel so stupid now.. a) i)6 ii)3 iii)1 b) i)7 ii)11 iii) 7 c) I didn't see any similarities ..
  10. How to solve this?
  11. Wouldn't it be a square then?
  12. You're right. I am moving to college from high school. And I want to begin with correct approach to develop concepts of chemistry.
  13. 1.a) So first thing to look for is reaction type. Got it. B. So are structure and electronic configuration enough to predict the behaviour and properties? (i.e can we approach chemistry physically ?)
  14. 1. a) What is first thing one should look for to understand mechanism, kinetics, yield etc B. Structural arrangement in 3D space ( could it do any good in predicting it's properties and behaviour?)
  15. Yes. Plant as in corners of tetrahedron or triangular pyramid. You can also dig a cavity for the same.
  16. If you're a farmer and you are given 4 seeds which would have maximum yield when all these are at equal distance from one another, how would you plant it?
  17. 1.How would you approach to predict an a) inorganic chemical reaction b) Organic chemical reaction B. Are structural and electronic configuration enough to understand a compounds behaviour and properties. (Assuming temperature and pressure can be varied freely) C. What are the basic concept that a person have to master in order to be an expert in Organic chemistry.
