The only way anyone's mind can be changed about such tinges is to honestly seek God's leading in words like "Am I really living in a copper top factory? Or is there more to this world than what I see through these senses?", in your own wording but genuine, honest, looking to The Creator is the only way our hearts can be softened to be opened by Him & then begins your journey to see that we have been seeing Him everywhere all along.

The Bible is the inspired Word of God. He spoke through the pen of Moses for Genesis. It all starts with asking God for Him to Reveal to you whether any of it is real with a humble genuine heart looking for the Truth to the question of the reality of it all but it must be a honest searching for His Revelation from Him & not childish attitudes.

Evil is the absence of God & there was no lie about the apple, ....you shall not eat, for in the day you do eat from it you shall surely die.

I have been asked some questions about my relationship & have answered, if I were to get into the nitty gritty it would be seen as proselytizing & this thread is not labeled as such. You won't be able to commune with Him when you are so shut & focused on your own power as it is a personal relationship with the Creator you are challenging me about & the only space most men have for a personal relationship is with themselves. Why you don't believe or why do you believe, I am sharing of the fullness of life I am experiencing because I am open to His indwelling me not why we should be hand over our lives to the Saviour Jesus Christ. That is two very different things & The Son of God is not welcome to be spoken of here on this site.

He lives within me, the smile on my face? The love in my heart? The confidence in the simple things that confound the wise? The Peace that goes beyond all understanding coming from within me? The Light others see in me drawing them to me? It's not me but God's light & love drawing. He Communes with me or better yet like the song goes, He walks with me & He talks with me & He tells me how I am His own, & the joy we share as we tarry there, none other, has ever...knownnnn. But actually all know it who truly know Him & yet there is a individuality in the communion that is tailor made for each of us in our uniqueness of character & how that has been Created to tie into His Spirit.

...and yet they do for man can not stand on his own shoulders out in the middle of "I"land while me & myself steady him as buttresses form e"i"ther side.

God is The Eternal Spirit Who does want to have the most intimate relationship with us which is indwelling & is the farthest thing from just a metaphor, how could The Creator/Owner/Sustainer of the universe & all in it end up as an ideal? We ideally should be releasing our self wills to God's Gracious Love to shine through us to those around us, this could be seen as an ideal but it is actually a physical fact.

But who's fog? Really? Does anyone examine their standing form the other guy's or just try to solidify the faith they are standing on themselves?

Yes it does but some just can't fathom a personal relationship with indwelling Supernatural within an environment Created for us, yet it is no different that someone across the table from you with skin on except your dealing with Perfection & not fallenness.

...or we could all have a tendency to twist science into a religion justifying an outcome the way we want it to appear to us individually so we can worship it?

...or, we're Created beings under the weight of freewill"s choices as to what we choose to see or how it is processed from within?

I have walked through the challenges of this life as His child indwelt by Him for 30yrs now. I've been blessed by His long suffering of my foolish ways & yet He is there waiting my return via the humbler/wiser I become through the lessons learned. He has taken me to the woodshed & as painful as those coming to my end times are it is a relief to see Someone cares enough to say "Enough! No further shall you continue in this harmful direction." The loves expressed in sharing in conversation or the times things are reviewed to me whether some beauty in Creation or of the science of how it works. Always I am allowed to see the Perfection of His will for my life, maybe not right this minute when in a life event but never beyond 6 or 8 months out. What I "are" is one not worthy of such Love earned by anything i do but Blessed by such Peace anyway.

...yet there is much that is a faith in holding onto a particular hope that science is heading towards or originating from a particular direction that faith is very much in play here & not unquestionable fact, much of science requires faith in it to the religious extent no different that a faith in religion of supernatural forces.

I see Limitless Love & why should any live because of our inner darkness? That is Long-suffering Love not fear of Judgment.

We are to be conduits for Perfect Love to shine through into a dark world lighting it & not ever sitting waiting with a finger poised over a button, there seems to be some misunderstanding in ideology here.

I was not preaching but explaining the basis of the story so we can all have a better understand of where, why & how it all came about, this helps to fill in the gaps as to where the "Y" came from & why it had to come the way it came. That's not anymore preaching than explaining how fossil fields came about by one creature dying at a time after another over great lengths of time as their bodies accumulated to form great piles of rock filled with bones & that through various dating practices we can set their original formation in time.

If One is able to Create light & fix it to the luminaries is it much of a stretch to conceive His placing the light from here to there? Really, we are so limited by our finiteness. I am at a loss for words over the eye quote in the shortsightedness of it, what better way to express your Creative ability than to make up the eye the way it is. Creation as an act of Timelessness? Take it up with The Potter clay.

How about accept Him as Sovereign, a though thing for those of us in the new world as we don't see being under someone's right to reign over us in this new free land.

Well, if you think about it at all in the reason for it all in the 1st place, God was sending Himself as The Perfect Sacrifice for the payment of mans sin debt. God had to be the "Y" Himself in order to bring Perfection back as Godman for His Revelation of Himself to the needy world of fallen mankind.

It all points to Design & not something from nothing or total chaos.

Remember now, you can't even believe unless He allows it.

You find yourself seated in a plane as turbulence starts shaking the thing all over the place. Fear can be the 1st wave over you followed by a determination to not loos it, so you grit your teeth & start to draw in your frazzled nerve endings muttering to yourself about not being seen as a fool while you grip the armrests sorting out what the look on your face is others are seeing, am I flushed or drained? Or, you can just sit back an say "This could be the most amazing trip of my life! Flight 314 to eternity!"...."I have always enjoyed acceleration, I wonder if we are going to get to go into one of those creaming nosedives into the earth? Would that be selfish to ask Father?"

....or, far more faith in the roots of their religious beliefs because the dog belongs to the people next door who picked it up as a rescue yesterday & the police have evidence in their hands to work with as well as experience of those who have come before working with real life things like people, cars tire tracks, fingerprints, DNA....(hummmm, I wonder where all of the information within DNA came from in the 1st place or the complexity of using that info?), firearms, dogs, etc but here we are talking of people making claims on incomplete information because no man was there to witness or measure & so much of his ideals are based on filling in blanks that we choose to make drift in the direction of evolution yet there is no more proof of such than there is an honest look at Creation. Well, except for Creational finger prints are all over the crime scene of order being brought out of chaos via great Intelligence designing it all while adding beauty & diversity beyond a mans ability to dream of.

If you don't believe how can science say anything to you then even if it is true science verifying test results before you?
