I recently tested some synthetic proteoliposomes made via in vitro transcription/translation of a GPCR in a liposome matrix. The manufacturer gives an approximate molar ratio of lipid:GPCR of 150:1, which seems rather high. I'm curious whether anyone has an idea of the molar ratio (or range) you might expect in proteoliposomes made from recombinant GPCR-overexpressing cell lines (either stable or inducible).
