Hi all. I'm a teacher and wish to replicate this (smaller scale because of money) with my GATE students. My question is, how much would I need? Again, I want my students to be able to experience "walking on water" without breaking the bank.About how much cornstarch and water would I need?

Okay, my next question is HOW DO YOU BUILD THAT ROOM? Does anyone know? A complete list of materials? We are doing a family STEAM night, and this would be really cool to fit in with our proprioception section.

Hi there! We're having a STEAM science night at our school, and my co-worker and I want to build a Proprioception box. He can't remember where he saw it, but here is the gist: The person is in a box with four walls on wheels. The walls are colored black and white. The person is on a small box of their own and holding something. We move the box, and since the person thinks they are MOVING, they will try and compensate and move to not drop the object, only they are not moving, but they are getting tricked into it. Anyone hear of this? I am trying to find a demonstration and a step by step guide to build the box. Thanks!

As the title says, what were the oxygen levels during these periods? I always thought the O2 levels were higher than we have today, but I read different articles saying they were actually lower. What are everyone's thoughts on this? Also, could we breathe in these environments?

Say a massive being does it. They just simply plunge their hand into the ocean and rip it off. I am just wondering what would happen to Earth if that happens.

Say if Unicron (planet-sized evil transformer) came to Earth and lifted one of the tectonic plates. As in just ripped it off. Say, the smaller ones, Cocos, Caribbean or Scotia, gets lifted. Now, my question is what would happening to Earth, the the people watching a massive plate be lifted? Other than Earthquakes and death, what would happen? What about if one of the bigger plates gets lifted? Thank you!

Simple question, hoping for a simple answer. Are all of the planets and such in the Sun's gravity well? Is Luna in Earth's gravity well?
