I explained in my private-corp analogy that if the entire world is filled with unethical rules, in order to participate into some kind of community you have to bite the bullet and pretend to accept those rules. it's a kind of forced-consent that you never really consented to. If you don't believe two wrongs make a right then you don't believe in justice. Justice is punishing someone because they did something wrong. The whole point of justice is to make them suffer. That is why I don't agree with the justice system. Throwing someone in a cage for their whole life just for counterfeiting money is cruel and a form of torture. No it doesn't have no meaning. Everyone can be evil, but they could also have a good side, and various degrees of evil. That is like how if a meat-eater gives you 50 bucks, they are good for giving you money, but evil for eating meat. Also, I never heard of dogs torturing dogs.

Because if the whole world thinks the world is their "home", they act like Mommy and Daddy and you have to follow their rules.

Hi KipIngram. Self-awareness is a poor choice of words. Sentience is what's relevant. AI would not have organic tissue or chemicals, so the question is if it could feel geniune sensations like organic entities. Another thing is the sampling entities. It almost appears as if there is only "one" consciousness...simply trying out and sampling the sensation of being inside different brains. If you were in a different brain, you'd think you are a different person, but are actually the same person but with a different set of memories.

Ok...but that explanation is completely violating Occams razor. Wouldnt it be easier to say, that the light has the same velocity, simply because C is the maximum velocity light can go in space? And thus light always travels at C? Rather than say, the reason the pulsar has even intervals is because it has special, magical-sounding time properties?

Michelson Morley does not disprove my aether, and Miller uses an intereferometer in his studies (MM also uses interferometer.) So if he uses the same type of instrument and the first instrument doesn't prove anything besides lumi-wind being false how would he prove anything besides lumi-wind being false. Hint: I don't believe in lumi-wind, my aether is different and more similar to aether drag. Fizeau experiment implies aether drag is real, but theorists use the mental gynastics to somehow ignore Occams razor and conclude that his implications are false. Mental gynmastics work because they violate Occams Razor. The simplest explanation of Fizeau experiment is to say that Light has different velocities. But in order to say light is a constant, what you do is you use Mental Gymnastics in order to think of a way to counter the simplest explanation. Say for instance, I leave a corn flake in the house and my dog is in the house. When I leave the house, I come back and the cornflake is gone. The simplest explanation, is to say my dog ate the cornflake. But someone could do Mental Gymnastics and say, no a UFO came and teleported the cornflake away. Then the rest of their science would be based on the UFO theory, and at no point could the dog-theory ever enter it again, the UFO theory is already popular and put into books.

I will give you one example: Gas and Gasoline. Engineers say "Fill up the Gas tank" when Gasoline is a liquid and not a gas. Gasoline is eventually converted into a gas, but it is misleading to call it gas directly. And yeah, my memory is not the greatest. I thought of more examples the other day. Blocking is censorship. As civilized members of society we say "We do not condone violence, because it is a way of censoring intellectual debate and discussion." So...why say violence is wrong, if blocking is allowed? If people on Facebook are free to censor intellectual debate and discussion, then how is that much difference than violence. Both are uncivilized. Blocking is just a method for the weak to be as uncivilized as the strong.

I dont object to it. I agree that Michelson Morley disproved lumi-aether wind. I believe in aether that goes with the Earth. Swansont said it was disproven 300 years ago, but I have no idea what experiment they are talking about.

I don't get how much more about ethics it can get. I'm saying China is evil because it does not stop-dog torture. My dog can talk. Also some dogs on youtube can talk. You will probably think the video staged and fake, so the main point you should take is that dogs can communicate. Can dogs communicate with their owners without talking? Yes. How is talking about how China tortures dogs not ethics? Sadly it is you who didn't think it through. How am I supposed to know what they define as ethical? Because some humans don't even think animals are sentient. And the vast majority of humans eat-meat. So unless they define what their ethics are, it is nowhere implied on the paper that they have ethics about animals. And its silly to suggest I would assume they have animal-ethics concern when they didn't even find it important enough to mention.
