This is not a trial but I have a question about the oath of the therapist regarding confidentiality. Even with Ford's permission can she disclose such details that took place during therapy? Also seeing as this would be such a huge boost for Ford's credibility (if the Therapist confirms or shows the notes) why hasn't she pressed this topic more. From what I could follow from this case and please correct me but she first generally mentioned that she spoke to some people about the Kavanaugh and revealed the therapy thing later in the case "job interview process". This is speculation on my part but If I would be Ford this would be my main focus. I would even discuss with the therapist before coming out with this accusation publicly. Another speculation and please be gentle with me on this one - I am not familiar with Doctor Ford's life but if I had her alleged horrible experience, during therapy, this topic would be the main one to discuss. It wouldn't be a name that I mentioned in 2012. I understand not talking about it with your husband, family as it is a huge stigma but why are you even going to Therapy if not to try to cope or heal is in anyway possible from such experiences. I am really on doctor Ford's side on this but I just found this a bit curious.

Hello Kafei and welcome. Well maybe on other forums things go down differently but here unfortunately we have many members who try to spread baseless speculations. It's very good that you have this mindset. I also strive to become like you and attack arguments not people . On this forum we have to go the extra mile and (depending on the section you post in) attack arguments with data, proof points and valid sources. Most members are very helpful so don't hesitate to ask any questions you might have.

Hmmm is it okay to assume that we intercept their radio signals and can get an understanding of their culture as they could if they would receive our broadcasts? If so we would have a good idea on how to react. Taking into account your OP I see people only take into account how humans would react. But what about the other side? Depending on what information we get from them we can make an opinion. Hmm the initial reaction after reading your post Phi for All is judgemental towards Facebook but if I think more a business could target a certain demographic and same as "the baker who refused to make a cake for a gay couple" discussion I will say that if you are selecting certain groups because your product is targeting those groups (like selling skateboards to the age range up to 30) then that's ok in my book and if you are deliberately discriminating against a certain group then: 1: you don't know how to run a business and 2: I wouldn't like to deal with that person anyway. Imagine someone wants to rent his apartment and is a huge homophobe. If facebook did not have the option to "target" and a gay person would rent this place, he would find out the hard way and there would be tension.
