Hi, I'm currently working on my Chemistry Coursework but all of our grade is from Coursework, there is no exam so we have to find out information and then put it into our own words and do an assignment about it. So for one of our assignments I have to:
For B Grade:
- Describe the properties of Ionic compounds and link to type of bonding
- Describe the properties of covalent compounds and link to type of bonding
- Describe the properties of metallic compounds and link to type of bonding
- Explain a giant molecular structure and link to boiling points
- Explain simple molecular structure and link to boiling points
- Identify and draw example of simple and giant molecular structures
For A Grade: (including all C & B Grade work)
- Explain ionic bonding relating to atoms gaining stability
- Explain covalent bonding relating to atoms gaining stability
- Diagram showing structure of Na-Cl explaining how it forms
- Identify other examples i.e Group 2 and Halogens with explanations
I know it's alot to ask for and I'm not asking anybody to do the work for me just perhaps link me to some websites that could give me some information about them as Google doesn't come up with a lot and I don't know much about it, only enough to get me a C grade but I really am set on getting an A and all the work is independent so in the class we aren't actually learning anything so we all have to get information from the internet.
Thanks alot!
