The Vietnam War was a fiasco. The protests that the american people made were correct. Vietnam won by determination (soldiers had a tattoo: "Born in the North, die in the South"). The question is: if the Vietnam War were in the present day, would Vietnam win again? It's no use having perforating missiles, the mother of all bombs. The war in Iraq lasted 10 years. The answer is: they could. The Vietnam war could last for 20 years. This situation is hypothetical and will not happen. But it exemplifies what wins a war.
