Thank you all! It's a topic i am interested in. In my opinion,intelligence is an ability of mind to notice,analyze and link together the complex data for creating some making decisions tools. But it's not fixed for ages. It changes with time, efforts to improve it or special medical treatment as psychostimulants. In this sense measurement of intelligence is important not only for realising my current status but my potential mostly. IQ test, for example, have an index of age. Which means a 10 years old kid who is solving the problems as he is 15, has bigger result as a more intelligent person then that one. Am not sure, it is not a sign of agism,by the way,but is another story. I would like to use such a proper test i believe in to measure my progress in keeping my "brain fit" as i do regularly check my body condition.

Some time ago i recognised the girl from orphan house we supported died. She didn't because of accident or fatal illness. She was eaten by wild dogs. The reason was simple. She was drunk and dogs ate her till death. The reason why she was drunk was complicated. After the kids reach 16, they go out this charity system. After some time general knowledge became not the collecting of some new info as i have too much but to make the proper connection between facts and theories. To train my ability to do so i practice TRIZ. While am doing these exercises i feel my brain wheels go faster and i notice the connection better. Do you know the exam system when the number of exam ticket is written on paper and it is flipped over? You choose the one from the table and give the answers for the questions written on it. My friend was passing the exam session with me. For the first time she took the ticket with 13 number. By the way, in my country 13 is unlucky number. Next day she took the ticket with 13 number again. For the third day she said she read the answers for 13 so she was no nervous at all. And yes, that happened! 13 number one more time.. I am sorry. May be i express myself not good enough. I agree with Damateur that scientists are people and try to answer why do scientists believe in science. The more smart people are the more they hesitate. But to go further they need to believe. Not all the theories can be proved by facts, at least not immediately. So they need to believe in theirs theories.

Dear all, i reread the conversations of this top again. And remember one aspect we didn't mention yet. A game. The image of Gee's daughter playing with her grandmother reminded me that we have 1000 of types of different games. Some of them are logically constructed and are connected to consiousness, but some, as 1-year old kids with falling the food down,are not. Are these games an example of instinct? It's discussable. In my mind, yes. It's an instinct not to be bored, to develop the mind and survive by not being dumb. It is one of the most important things leading us (and science) to the best future. Even Elon Musk started one of his TED talks with the words he is bored. Thanks to his passion not to feel boring we have so many progressive projects he supports.

Kalevala of Finland, Olimpus gods of ancient Greece, Zaratoustra of ancient persians, Slavic pantheon, Gods of ancient India...I can name 15 different religions i was interested in. To be honest, the ancient religions with multipersonal God seem more real and understandable to me then paternalistic one-leader modern religions as Jesus or Allah,or Buddha cults. But what i noticed are 3-4 years old kids do not think of God. They know nothing about which religion is a right one. If i am an adept of Zaratoustra and raise my child with the principles and rules of this cult, my kid will use that rules. Until he will be adult enough to choose another religion if he wants to. So religion is a social construct. It's not given. But belief or trust in God is a personal thing. My parents can be religious and me personally can be an atheist. To be honest,it's more vice versa as i was born in Soviet Union when all religions were officially banned. I believe in God because of personal experience. I had many of my own stories when i saw a hand of God, his plan about me. And i can say that for the last 5 years he (or "they", may be) is not happy with me. So we have some issues.But i have no doubt of his existence as i talk to him every day I don't see how can i explain it better. That's a reason why belief and religion are different. There are several points i realized the end of bio existing is not the end of life itself. One hundred years ago, the moment of death was registering when the heart stopped.After that we realized it's not the end. A lot of people are reanimated now after heart stop as we know how to do it. Then we start to register the moment of death when the brain stop making signals. But some bio procedures at this moment continue. For example,our nails growth. We do not register some activity of brain,but still it is active for several days after. For me it is a demonstration of fact, the body is a bio receiver of a cause of life. Let's call this cause of life a spirit. Death is the finish for receiver but not a spirit.

The possibility of suicide itself is a proof humans are not addicted to life. People choose not to live. Suicide is a rational decision as it needs a lot of efforts to overcome the surviving instinct. The reasons to do it can be very different. Some people don't want to stay invalid, some do not see another way to escape of problems, some are in depression and don't have enough of essential chemical components in blood to feel themselves happy. But still it's a rational decision , sometimes under emotional disctructive lack of feeling happy. It's not an addiction,in my mind, but it is a lack of some components. So if we had effective anti-depressants, we can solve the one of the problems leading to suicides. But if a person decides he does not want to live without legs as he does not want to be a problem for his family, giving such pills to him will not help. In this case, we need to solve a problem of social adaptation of invalids.

I am waiting the news from Elizabeth Parrish who is doing this process now with herself as the alive experiment of reversing her age 10-15 years back. In my opinion we need around 20-30 years to make reversing age procedure available for all the people. So the main thing we should concentrate on is to keep ourselves in a good shape until 2050. Seoul population itself is more then 10 mln of citizens, with Incheon is more then 23 mln, which is almost a half of a republic.
