  1. It wasn't a threat; I was giving you a chance to reconsider. Your question may be out of line as I've posted quite relevant content already. I've not done so in this thread, as I haven't decided what is America's biggest problem yet. It is a very broad question. Are you aware that you are not the other guy? (MigL) I can't believe I had to type that sentence.
  2. I just read the entire post which I quoted. I decided to put you onto my ignore list when I read the last sentence. I will explain to anyone who is interested.
  3. I think I'll post something by 1pm tomorrow.
  4. Do you want to go onto my ignore list? Are you applying for a slot?
  5. Do you need advanced notice? I do give you an A for well-placed humor.
  6. I explained my reason. If you want to critique the reasons, then I will respond. What is "FIFY"?
  7. I think it's a very good question. I think I might consider answering for several areas or subjects.
  8. I am willing to reveal what I have in mind, but I have not been able to determine the time restraints and limits after which I can be accused of waiting too long..
  9. I have been warned that I must answer your question, but not told in what time schedule. Do you mean this? Me: What is the basis for any expression of duration. Sometimes when I give my answer in the OP, there is nothing left to discuss from my perspective. What I mean is that I know what I have in mind and want to know what others think about the subject. I have told the participants in the "0 DIV 0" thread that I will share my answer in one day. Perhaps, I should have done that here sooner.
  10. How does one get a thread closed by explicit request--and after that result being broached as a possibility? What is the TIME schedule--the maximum time allowed--for responses to posts? I've been warned that I must respond to your question. What equation? I am going to ask a question now: What does this sentence mean? You:I really don't think you understand the questions.
  11. Where does one place an introduction post?
  12. Please close the thread. Thank you. I've asked for the thread to be closed. Thank you for your correct sentence, the first sentence. The second sentence is not correct. I will start a thread about wikie-pee-D-uh, if necessary
  13. I was referring to the duration that elapsed from singularity to 300,000 years. You should notice that I do not use the word 'time', but instead use the phrase "duration that elapsed". Now do you understand? You will make that determination. When you do, you will, I suspect, realize that you've always known.
  14. What is your question? And you did NOT say anything that I heard.
  15. No, not simply. You can not determine anything in terms of time at that stage of development of the universe. That you think you can, apparently from your statement, suggests that you don't know the nature of 'time'. I'm not using a philosophical term with "nature of." You should not be alarmed, many many people have disparate conceptions of 'time', including physicists and other eggheads, to use a word.

Yes to all that, but does anyone know the reason we can't divide by zero? I give the answer in five words, no numbers. I will give my answer tomorrow.
  17. Does it make any less sense than "singularity?"
  18. I am not asking "how to put numbers to the time axis." Are you serious? Read and comprehend the first sentence in the OP, then reconsider, please. My question requires one to know the nature of 'time'. Do you want to be the first person on my ignore list? Do you understand that question?
  19. I'm not interested. Look at my OP Do you know the answer to the question. What is the basis for any expression of duration. Do you understand the question?
  20. I have a question but don't know where to place the question. How can I get the html version of my posts while I'm editing? There is no html toggle.
  21. Thanks, but I don't acknowledge that site as legitimate. I will be more than happy to go to any other sources. I've been boycotting that source since.....I don't really know, probably over ten years. Thank you. And I'm not here for entertainment. Do you not know the answer to the question? (I don't mean "anybody?")
  22. When I read, "the universe was at an age of 300,000 years" in a post in another thread, I wondered how could anyone determine that number. Well, one might think an age was determined and then it was expressed in terms of years--so that the reader could understand. And how would someone determine that particular duration? What is the basis for any expression of duration. Anybody? Time is linear, memory is a stranger, history is for fools.... Roger Waters, Perfect Sense, Part I from Amused To Death
  23. Well, we human types can get overwhelmed by the concept of infinity. And that is what's being considered when...wait. Your username is "ImMeaningless" and, when I checked, I was told that you joined 3 hours-ago. I'm not buying your not-goody Enrish, "has it really ever existed" angle.
