Movement of a Slinky

I am also trying to solve this problem. What if you represent each coil of the slinky as a mini spring, and they're all connected like this O--------O--------O--------O--------O--------O--------O Each node is of equal mass, and you calculate the force on each: gravity, left spring, right spring
