Human is curious, you can also say why scientists are doing all of these, and they're doing it mostly because they want to now the world, to answer the questions, and they are doing it cause they are curious about it.

Well, 0 can't be 1, but it can be: 0=(5+4*9999999)*(9^2-81), so maybe the world and energy are the same, but more complicated.
