I see, thanks

yes, constructed, but have they ever looked around an atom in real time, similar to how we rotate a ball when we examine it.
-
In magnetic induction, how do I affect materials in between two coils or two metals inducing electric current? Lets say, two coils and there is plastic in between them, I want to melt the plastic by using magnetic induction (obviously, I want to induce heat). What are the WAYS to achieve such thing?

i see, It was bohr who did the experiment I think. Electrons orbitting a nucleus is a theory by bohr. But how would today's science hold up if all of a sudden, what we thought of electrons orbitting a nucleus is actually a field around a nucleus? Would calculations still be the same but simply instead of thinking that electrons are particle/wave that orbit, theyr just fields with "field levels" (energy levels)??? also, have scientists looked at an atom in a different angle? or like in 3 dimensions?

which is naturally more attracted to which? negative attracts positive or vice versa?
-
I see. I just thought that making electrons float in a space to make it independent off of the body then making it slam to the body (obviously to the direction of where body wants to go) make it move. body = the thruster itself or the whole ship

based on an experiment i saw a few months back, bombarding an atom with some particle shows the position of electrons as it spins. But to me, it seem more like a field of electrons rather than particles spinning, a field that has little concentrations of electrons. More like bubbles on a pool of magma. Which of these sound better in the surface?
-
Then why do i get a spinning ball of negatively charged electrons around a nucles in texbooks or even everywhere?
-
is modern science 10000000% sure that electrons ARE particles?
-
The point is the thruster, not the system. I said "granted we have limitless energy". I simply want to know if pure electric propulsion from ground to space is possible.
-
I see, since electrons are particles, maybe they could be accelerated (on my diagram) to very high velocities , maybe a particle accelerator. Would that be possible? I know it wont, and i know exactly what you mean, that is why the negative electrons based on my diagram is released into a space in the thruster and not directly spraying to the positively charged area. That should make the negative electrons independed on their own which will make it not drag the thruster iteslf. Because of this, I think the containment field can be removed.

well, something that is practical to use, im not saying propellers, is there a way for electrons to burst out "whatever the rocket goes out of is called" to generate lift that can be used to get out of escape velocity and also be used to space. My idea for this is a an engine in that looks similar to an ion thruster. Instead of using protons which then shoot out of the thruster, maybe negatively charged electrons that come out of the wal of the thruster literally bang into a plate thats positively charged. It will result in the electrons slamming the thruster, so granted we have limitless energy, I think my idea could be possible.
-
If rockets use combustible fuel to generate lift, then is it possible to go all out electricity powered propulsion (to space) granted we have limitless energy.

thats it, thats what im looking for, Thank You, but would you mind explaining why?

so i guess, based on what you said, in terms of attracting electricity via storing a different charge, then round is the best.

if u guys are still confused about my question, what i really meant is that electricity is more likely to discharge out off pointy things (or the pointiest part of something, it doesnt have to be specifially sharp). If it exits out off pointy things easily, then what shape or figure does it enter something easily? Think of it as when you touch a few million volts of low amps and you point out your finger, electricity will want to discharge out off your finger and stop discharging out off your hair. For example, if I want to direct electricity in a coil to one specific direction, then i will make it pass through, lets say a pyramidal shape conductor, and the will get discharged out of the tip. But then I want to somehow absorb that electricity, then what shape would I use to absorb the electricity just as easily discharging it off a pointy shape? Round perhaps? or Flat? or what? If you guys want my reason why im asking, well, my idea may be too ambitious and kinda dumb but Im thinking of how wireless electricity could be really real. 1st part is filling/overloading the atmosphere with electricity using the earth's charge (if it would be possible)by stabbing the earth with a giant spike, with the pointy end facing the sky, but then how to receive it? Traditional antennas wont work as it would just serve as a discharge of electricity of whatever device its connected to. Or maybe not just wireless electricity, but to maybe redirect electricity or even lightning to one specific area or additional safety to areas where thunderstorms are frequent as lighting would want to hit THAT instead of people or house antennas.

If electricity likes to shoot out of pointed things or the sharp edges of things, then what shape or geometrical figure does it like to go into?

Is there a 2 way source light reflector?
DARK0717 replied to DARK0717's topic in Modern and Theoretical Physics
I see, i was thinking of maybe amplifiying a laser more by putting it into a loop then releasing it, i guess it wont be feasible. Perhaps fiber optic cables might work? -

Yes, quite like that THANK YOU. yea, Im looking for a loop, maybe a one way mirror on one of the mirrors in a folded cavity? but then maybe in the end, it will just end up like the diode itself by which when the one way mirror cant hold too much light, it will just go through it then back into the diode. -

my idea is for the laser to just go around and around in a loop without going back to the diode, which means the laser wont escape at all, it will just keep stacking up in a loop inside maybe a donut shaped splitter. -

oh, thank you. but would it be possible for the laser to loop, and not go back to its source?l like my furst example but instead, the laser from output 3 would go to input 2 then back out of output 3 then cycle repeats -
what i mean is that, is there such a geometry of glass that would allow light to come from 2 directions but come out in the exact same direction and location? Example, light source a and b go through the input 1 and 2 of the reflector, they both come out from output 3. or more like two wires that when the ends of the two wires are twisted together will result in both of the wires stack its current to where its twisted and to that direction. Anything even if its not glass is fine with me* If ur gonna ask what kind of light would I want to reflect, its a laser, or any very thin light

but then, plasma dissipates really fast as soon as it leaves the weapon. Maybe a way to contain it, if only today's science can isolate magnetic fields only and put it around plasma to contain it as it travels. yes, ofcourse. Ha, ha, ha There is a difference between kinetic energy projectiles and kinetic object projectiles

I was wondering as I was playing Apex Legends that are these energy weapons possible, more accurately is to shoot an energy ball/projectile. How could today's science achieve shooting maybe balls of electricity without it scattering in an instant as it leaves the barrel. In my head, im thinking that energy is contained in magnets, then those magnets push the highly compressed electricity out but then it will dissipate very rapidly. Is there a way to partially solidify energy/electricity? (note: im not talking about plasma balls)
