  1. In the event of an alien invasion the least destructive move would be to immediately surrender. We would be defeated no matter what we did. Think NATO in a war with ancient Egypt. Chariots do not win against tanks and jets.
  2. There was a long history of false assumptions. In this case it was the false assumption that time was absolute. Time dilation a result of the mathematics of relativity. Experimentation done afterwards supported that time dilation occurs which supports the theory of relativity.
  3. I believe it is just good old Einstein. Why do you hope it wasn't Einstein?
  4. Not sure if I agree or disagree.
  5. Quit crying and show some math. Surely there is at least some math in the 5 books you have written, that you could share. So far all you are doing is making unfounded claims. Show the math!
  6. Physics dogma? Great start, Larry.
  7. I agree that a doctor should be able to help with this.
  8. Did you really just refer to yourself in the third person?
  9. OK. With the help of a demon you can have perpetual motion. But this is kind of cheating, plus you would have go to hell after the experiment.
  10. If God created the universe then he and his minions (angels) are obviously not an integral part of the universe. In other words they would not be governed by the laws of physics. So trying to use physics to describe the movement of angels is a waste of time.
  11. I am going to go out on a limb here and say there is no amount of evidence or experimentation that will change MPMin's mind. But you guys are giving it a valiant effort.
  12. I am sorry that happens to you, that must suck! When I took physics, learning the math and then applying that math to experiments greatly increased my understanding of the physical world. It was quite exhilarating if the truth be known. Again, let me say I am sorry that the exact opposite occurs with you.
  13. Why, you can't even understand what science is after it was explained to you multiple times!! I think you are just pretending to be this stupid and this is just fun trolling for you. Reported as such.
  14. Probably because it works, you know like computers and stuff... Shouldn't this these be in the trash, or at the very least pseudoscience?
  15. You keep repeating this incorrect notion over and over but for some reason I am still not convinced! Maybe if you repeat about 10 more times I will agree with you. Isn't it weird that your definition of science and math is rejected by physicist, chemists and engineers on this site? I guess we are wrong. I can't believe I wasted all those years at the university! Thanks for clearing this whole science thing up for us!
  16. I didn't see any logic just a video that I am not interested in watching. Is there something you want to discuss? You can't give a short synopsis of you idea?
  17. First, 6 times one hundred thousand is not 6 million. You do realize you just stated that if you flip a coin one hundred million times, statistically you should get heads 60% of the time. That thar is crazy talk...
  18. Here is a link to a lecture from Yale that clearly explains LT using the same method that you are discussing. I think it is a quite good lecture. LINK
  19. No comment, just a link? Bad form I would say.
  20. That cracked me up.
  21. So the sun is a molecular cloud? But the molecular cloud is made of hydrogen from the big bang and heavier atoms from supernovas. But the supernovas were from stars that were made from collapsed molecular clouds. The hydrogen was formed from energy as the universe cooled. It all seems different to me! "Nothing can become different" is clearly seems like semantic philosophical tripe.
  22. That statement is absurd in my opinion. Glad to help!
  23. Who knows, there is always a first time. I do like this, "The field is a flexible fabric made up of quantum balls/particles connected by quantum string ". It sound very comfortable, I would like a quantum jacket made from this flexible quantum fabric.
  24. I really think you are minimizing the incredible difficulty in making your own little world that flies around space!
  25. Yes. We can live in space fairly easily as shown by the ISS. But the moon is too far away and hence expensive. Why do you think we haven't gone back? It actually is. The distances are just too difficult to overcome. I know everyone will hate me for stating what seems obvious to me, because it is not want we want. But a famous philosopher once said, "you can't always get what you want". So I will stop here since it will only get uglier from here. I will state for the record, I so hope that I am wrong and we figure out some whiz-bang way to get off this rock and move to the stars.
